Sadaqah Jariyah Opportunity in Jigjiga -> The first Salafi masjid in central Jigjiga. The Masjid is being built on a 50 m × 16 m plot of land that was generously donated by one of the aunts. May Allah reward her abundantly. The estimated cost to complete the entire ground-plus-one-floor project is approximately $43,000. By the grace of Allah, a generous brother has already donated $23,000 towards the project. May Allah accept it from him and bless his wealth. More recently, an elderly brother volunteered to fund the drilling of a well for the Masjid, and the work is currently underway. If Allah grants success, the Masjid will have its own continuous water supply at no cost, which will greatly benefit the worshippers for many years to come, in shā' Allāh. Ahlus-Sunnah Seize the Opportunity for Da'wah Sheikh Abu Muhammad Tahir As-Samawi writes: We advise the Du'at from Ahlus-Sunnah to make use of the opportunity to preach among the tribes in the Al-Jawf gathering places. This is a gathering that is unlikely to happen again in the same way. The tribes are coming together, giving the callers a chance to remind them, advise them, and guide them. The hearts of the tribes are open to goodness—we have seen this ourselves. They appreciate those who stand by them in these circumstances—we have witnessed that too. They are eager and are asking for people to come to them as callers, advisers, and reminders. This is an opportunity, O Du'at of Ahlus-Sunnah. Make the most of it.

Mira Saddam Hussein's Appeal Leads to a Tribal Unification Against the Houthis Some weeks back, Mira (the alleged daughter of) Saddam Hussein posted videos on social media asking for her house in the capital, Sana'a, to be returned. She said that a Houthi leader had taken over the house and looted her belongings. She appealed to the Yemeni people for help and specifically asked Hamad bin Rashid Fadgham Al-Hazmi, a tribal leader from Al-Jawf Governorate in eastern Yemen, to help her recover her property. He quickly responded and publicly supported her. The issue soon grew into a tribal dispute involving Sheikh Hamad bin Rashid Fadgham Al-Hazmi. This led to rising tensions in Al-Jawf Governorate, tribal mobilisation, and fears of a full-scale military confrontation with the Houthis. A few hours after the videos were posted, the Houthis arrested both Al-Hazmi and Mira Saddam Hussein after tribal mediation efforts failed. Their arrests angered members of Al-Hazmi's tribe. The Houthis released Al-Hazmi after 50 days in detention, but Mira remained imprisoned. After returning to his tribe, Al-Hazmi declared a "Nakaf Al-Karamah" (Call of Honour), a traditional Yemeni tribal custom used to ask for support and assistance. He warned that if the Houthis did not release Mira and return her property, he would escalate the situation into a full military confrontation. He gave them a deadline ending on Friday (last week), extending an earlier deadline that had been set for Wednesday.
