society hates ugly people more than it hates evil people.
hypocrisy of modern morality is that we claim to judge people by the content of their character but our instincts judge them by their aesthetics... an attractive person doing something evil gets branded as misunderstood or complex. an unattractive person simply existing gets assigned ill intentions they never had. beauty grants visual immunity. unattractiveness guarantees prepackaged guilt

geopolitics me alag hi bigg boss chalri h bc

i think india’s cleanliness problem is ultimately also a problem of empathy. centuries of casteism and classism have conditioned us to see cleaning and sanitation as someone else’s job if it’s not our own house. when we don’t see sanitation workers as people deserving the same dignity and consideration as everyone else then we don’t think twice about creating more work for them. you can build more dustbins and impose more fines but unless we change this deeply ingrained attitude towards labour and public spaces and the people who maintain them we will keep struggling to become a genuinely clean society.
