🇷🇺🇺🇸 On September 23, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a meeting in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly. They held an in-depth exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral and international issues, building on recent contacts at the highest level. Discussing the Ukraine conflict resolution, Russia’s Foreign Minister drew attention to the close coordination between the Kiev regime and its European sponsors. They examined in detail Kiev’s destructive actions, including deliberate strikes against civilians and cross-border infrastructure, which destabilise global energy markets. The Russian Side reaffirmed its unconditional commitment to achieving the goals of the special military operation, including through a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict that addresses its root causes. International and regional issues discussed included the situation in the Middle East, the South Caucasus, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as efforts to counter illegitimate practices by certain multilateral institutions in the field of international law. They also reviewed preparations for the #G20 events scheduled before the end of the year. The Russian Side also stressed the need to restore bilateral relations to a sound footing as soon as possible, in accordance with the agreements reached by the Presidents of Russia and the United States. This is particularly relevant as discussions intensify on prospects for economic cooperation, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, easier travel between the two countries, and closer ties between their societies and citizens. Naturally, this requires an honest dialogue on removing “irritants” and restoring normal working conditions for both countries’ diplomatic missions, including the return of Russian property in the US that has effectively been confiscated. 🤝 The Sides agreed to maintain contacts on all these issues through their Foreign Ministries. #RussiaUS

💬 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: During their latest visit to Moscow, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner confirmed that Washington remains interested in helping to bring about a settlement of the Ukraine conflict. As US President Donald Trump said in August 2025 (following the summit in Anchorage), everyone agrees that the aim should not be some kind of ceasefire agreement, but a lasting peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine that will put a firm end to the war. Russia is ready for negotiations aimed at achieving precisely such a lasting and just peace. However, having learned from bitter experience, we will not pause the special military operation while negotiations are under way, in any form. This is precisely what Europe wants – with the same straightforward aim of gaining a respite and replenishing the depleted military arsenals of the Kiev regime.

Наши граждане, которые проживают или находятся временно в Великобритании, получили возможность проголосовать на выборах депутатов Государственной Думы Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации девятого созыва. Волеизъявление было организовано в соответствии с российским законодательством и прошло без происшествий. Общественный порядок возле здания дипмиссии обеспечивали британские правоохранительные органы. За ходом голосования следили наблюдатели от Общественной палаты России и Межпарламентской ассамблеи СНГ. Замечаний у них не было. Со стороны избирателей жалоб также не поступило. Всего своим конституционным правом воспользовались более 1200 граждан России. #Выборы2026

🗳 В день голосования на выборах депутатов Госдумы в Посольство поступило обращение от российской гражданки, которая по состоянию здоровья не смогла приехать на избирательный участок. 🗳 Voting began in Russia yesterday in the three-day elections to the State Duma, the lower house of Parliament. Polling stations opened across the country’s 11 time zones, from the Far East to the western regions. More than 111 million people are eligible to vote in Russia, with a further 1.8 million registered to vote abroad. Over 1,000 international observers from 133 countries, as well as representatives of 13 public organisations, are monitoring the elections. From tomorrow, many of Russia’s diplomatic missions will welcome voters too, including Russian citizens living or temporarily staying in the United Kingdom. ⚡️ The International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis has published a report “Heirs of Goebbels: Falsification of the Events in Bucha and Bloody Staged Performances of the Kiev Regime”, presenting its findings on the Bucha hoax, and how the Kiev regime and its Western sponsors through mainstream media support falsified the events of what occurred in Bucha in 2022. The Tribunal brings together civil society representatives from 35 countries. Drawing on Ukrainian media reports, memorial records and eyewitness testimony, the publication debunks the claim that the individuals commemorated at the Bucha memorial were civilians killed by Russia's Armed Forces. Key findings: ▪️ Military personnel presented as civilian victims The report identifies Ukrainian servicemen and combatants listed among the memorial’s “civilian victims”. Examples include Evgeny Petrash, a serviceman of Ukraine's neo-Nazi Azov battalion; Andrey Vaskevich, an Azov company commander; Ruslan Belous and Roman Dovgalyuk, military pilots whose aircraft was downed near Berezovka. Other entries include a sniper of Ukraine's 80th separate air assault brigade Oleg Tsimbal, members of territorial defence units, airborne formations and military intelligence. ▪️ Discrepancies in the location and cause of death A number of people commemorated at the Bucha memorial died elsewhere. Ukrainian sources place the deaths of a number of servicemen near Vorzel, Moshchun, Kopylov and other settlements. The report also cites 68-year-old Galina Semenyuk, who died of cancer but somehow appears on the memorial. Such cases highlight the need to establish each person’s circumstances of death before presenting the entire list as “civilian victims killed by the Russian military”. ▪️ Witness accounts of shelling and manipulated coverage The publication includes 16 witness accounts from Avdeevka, Ugledar, Dzerzhinsk and other towns and cities. Witnesses recount Ukrainian attacks on residential areas followed by the arrival of journalists, coverage blaming Russia, and pressure on residents to repeat that account. *** The Tribunal’s conclusion is unequivocal: the material it has collected points to blatant falsification of events in Bucha by the Kiev regime with Western support, alongside a broader practice of killing civilians to produce footage blaming Russia. ☝️ The cases presented in this publication form only part of the evidence assembled by the Tribunal. 📄 Full report (PDF) #BuchaHoax

💬 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: For decades, we have sought to promote a friendly and unifying agenda with regard to our Western neighbours. This includes creating an architecture of peace, equal and indivisible security, and mutually beneficial, practical cooperation across the vast space from the Atlantic to the Pacific. All of that is now history. The West spurned it all, failing to learn how to interact on an equal footing. The West made its choice long ago in favour of containing Russia, including through the forceful and brazen expansion of NATO towards Russia’s borders. We often hear the EU leaders talk about the need to prepare for war with our country. This is the most popular topic in the speeches of today’s European elites. We have repeatedly made it clear that we have no intention of attacking Europe [...] However, if Europe, which never stops speaking about preparing for war against Russia, attacks the Russian Federation, it will be a completely different war. A very short one. I hope European capitals and the entities that are now trying to portray themselves as united Europe heard this warning.
