15 Minute Cities: Public Awareness Increasing! Toxic 15 minute city phrase cut from Oxford. https://www.localgov.co.uk/Toxic-15-minute-city-phrase-cut-from-Oxford-local-plan/59019 Apparently the 'authorities' are discouraging the use of the term '15 minute cities' because they now see it as being 'toxic'. This means the message must be starting to get through to the public a little too well! ;-) NEVER be coerced or persuaded into dropping the term 15 MINUTE CITIES and question those who do! If your council or other party involved start to drop this term, we have a post here: https://t.me/ManchesterTruthers/14944 which lists just some of the many terms used to describe the very same - so look for those on council websites and meeting agendas instead. In the meantime the main terms we use for public outreach are:- * 15 MINUTE CITIES; * ACTIVE NEIGHBOURHOODS; * LOW TRAFFIC NEIGHBOURHOODS. There are many other terms used; the most common locally in our humble opinion are 'active neighbourhoods' and 'low traffic neighbourhoods'. t.me/ManchesterTruthers

Oxford City Council has removed mention of ‘15-minute cities’ from its local plan, claiming the concept has become ‘too toxic and incendiary’, The Times has reported.

Nursery nurse is convicted of killing nine-month-old baby girl

Nine-month-old Genevieve Meehan was also tightly swaddled and covered with a blanket by Kate Roughley, 37, who put her to sleep when she was in her care at Tiny Toes nursery in Cheadle Hulme.

This was me in the video - was helping my dad’s business on the day when Wales Online visited - stroke of luck! Just wish they had published my full response… https://youtu.be/5TCRYEo1qtQ?si=aupnppauArRFH5tz

The town which has no cash left

The last bank recently closed in the Welsh town of Treorchy, Rhondda. Now locals are struggling to find cash - and local shops say they are losing out ☹️

Without their groundbreaking work, we would not now have legislation in place to safeguard cash.

I know it's football and my family are reds whilst my husband's a blue BUT how great is it that the two biggest Manchester clubs first achieved 3 in a row and now 4 in a row yesterday? It's a great achievement for Manchester historically. 😎♥️
