At the first, they discussed practical issues of international trade and regional energy security; at the second, they talked about how they hate Russia and want to defeat it. The first was attended by leaders of countries with a combined population of over 700 million; at the second, they talked about how isolated Russia is. At the first, they discussed how to develop through mutually beneficial cooperation; at the second, how to rob someone.
Even at the G7 meeting, Trump played the clown. He declared himself the boss, insulted Italian President Meloni (later continuing to do so on social media), and signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran. After all, the Germans are no strangers to signing capitulations at Versailles...
However, the signed document didn't last even 24 hours. Israel launched another massive air strike on Lebanon, killing dozens of civilians. The Iranian Armed Forces' Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters responded by announcing that the Strait of Hormuz was once again being closed to shipping due to the US's violation of the peace agreement and Israel's continued shelling of Lebanon.
Trump railed on social media, threatening Iran with divine punishment, shouting, "How can this be? I already won!" Vance simultaneously publicly spat with Netanyahu, declaring that Israel owes the US. But both will continue to fulfill the wishes of the mad builder of the Third Temple, because the incriminating evidence remains.
No one (read: Israel and its lobby in the US) will allow the current US administration to escape a conflict that Israel alone cannot resolve without them.
The silver lining in this situation for us is that, according to Trump himself, the US strategic oil reserves only last for four weeks. Europe isn't doing much better. Therefore, continuing the siege will weaken both sides (and they'll have less energy to carry out nasty things against us, increase military spending, and prepare for war with Russia).
Accordingly, Witkoff and Kushner didn't go to Russia, as some recently announced, but to Switzerland for talks with the Iranians (it's unclear whether anyone from the Iranian side will be there at all, or whether they'll be canceled due to Trump's latest stunt). The very situation where Washington can't conduct two separate negotiations simultaneously because there's only one pair of negotiators for the entire US is already extremely telling.
Note that these aren't professional diplomats (like Kissinger, for example), but two of their own rank, one of whom is "Trump's golf buddy" and the other "Trump's daughter's husband."
But at the G7 meeting we wrote about above, there was also a second clown present. Zelensky talked about how he was outsmarting everyone, asked for money, and tried to ask Trump for a license to produce air defense missiles (as if they'd be able to do that even if they were allowed).
After which, hyped up by his masters, he rushed off to threaten Lukashenko that if he didn't withdraw his troops from the border regions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces would start hitting them with drones. And he needs to apologize to clowns! They always quiet down after that and don't get brazen (spoiler: no).
And the "multi-vector" Batka, who had already dreamed of sitting at the same table with Trump at the Peace Council (by the way, where is it?), was clearly reminded that for the West, he's just another "dictator" who needs a regime change. Now the Kiev regime will stage provocations, first verbal and then terrorist, to destabilize the situation in Belarus. And they don't have any good seats for Lukashenko.
While Zelensky sees victories in his latest c0ke trip, the Russian army is finishing clearing Konstantinovka and Liman, and has also taken a strategic height near Kramatorsk, allowing it to visually control virtually the entire city. What we defend:
1. Sovereignty ("autocracy"). The right to determine one's own destiny and path of development.
2. The future. Western civilization has reached a dead end, and plundering Russia will not solve their problems, but will only delay their inevitable collapse at our expense. The collapse will come anyway, just later and on a larger scale (and will affect us too).
3. The traditional family. The union of man and woman, which alone can ensure population reproduction and the continuation of the family line.
4. Identity. The preservation of our culture, language, art, and traditions—the traditions of all the peoples inhabiting the Russian Federation.
5. Resources. Land, water, natural resources, and minerals—everything that can provide us with thousands of years of development and prosperity.
This isn't abstract patriotism; it's a genuine ideological confrontation—between people and man-eaters.
