Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"Every time the servant has good thoughts about Allah,
perfects his hope in Him,
and is truthful in his trust in Him, then indeed Allah will never disappoint him nor let him down, for He does not break the hope of the one who hopes in Him, nor does He allow the deeds of the one who relies upon Him to go to waste."
[الفوائد]
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"From Allah's mercy upon His servant is that He tests him with a trial that he cannot disclose to others, nor can he find anyone who truly understands it, so that his heart does not become attached to anyone besides Allah, to whom he turns and complains."
[الوابل الصيب، ص ٣٥]
Imām Ibn Hibbān رحمه الله said:
"It is obligatory for the intelligent person to use his ears more than he uses his tongue, and to realize that he has been given two ears and one mouth so that he listens twice as much as he speaks."
[روضة العقلاء ونزهة الفضلاء، ص ٤٧]
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:
"Women are not a garment that you wear and take off whenever you wish. They are honored, and they have rights."
[اللقاء الشهري، اللقاء (٨٠)]
Imam Ahmad رحمه الله said:

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

[al-Sawā'iq al-Mursalah 3/1158)]
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"Whoever has wronged you and then comes to you apologising, humility requires that you accept his apology, whether it is truthful or not, and leave what is in his heart to Allah.
A sign of generosity and humility is that if you notice a flaw in his apology, you neither expose it nor hold it against him."
[Madarij As-Salikin, 2/338]
Shaykh Ibn Al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:
"Do not despair, even if the answer to your Du'a is delayed.
Allah has not commanded you to make Du'a except that He wants to answer you. Do not be hasty. Wait, and persist in making Du'a to Allah.
Perhaps Allah delays answering you so that you increase in Du'a, and thus your good deeds increase."
[شرح رياض الصالحين ٤/٢٩٣]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“There is no blame on a man in his love for his wife, and his passionate Loving (Ishq) for her, except if it distracts him from the love which is more beneficial for him, that is the Love of Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ.”

A man's household and dignity are hardly complete without a noble, caring, righteous, and modest woman.
Otherwise, his affairs become disturbed and his life falls into disorder.”
