🔥 Sunday Tech Talk HOW DOES AI KNOW AN APPLE IS A FRUIT AND NOT A PHONE? Most people think AI simply reads words and understands their meaning. But that's not quite how it works. Meet Vector Embeddings. Instead of storing meaning as words, AI turns concepts into numbers called vectors. Think of it like a map:

🍎 Apple (fruit) → close to → Banana, Orange, Mango 📱 Apple (company) → close to → iPhone, Mac, iPad

The closer the vectors, the more similar the meaning. That's why AI can understand that:

“tasty red breakfast fruit”

is probably talking about an apple — even when the word apple isn't there. A common misconception:

❌ AI understands concepts exactly like humans. ✅ AI represents relationships mathematically and measures how close they are.

That's a Supply Chain Attack. Instead of attacking you directly, attackers compromise something you trust and use that connection to reach you. Companies depend on:

A common misconception:

It's online, but Google can't search your emails. The internet is often compared to an iceberg:

Surface Web — Public and searchable. Deep Web — Online but not searchable by the public. Dark Web — Intentionally hidden networks.

A common misconception:

❌ Deep Web = Illegal ✅ Deep Web = Hidden from public search

So if Google can't find a website...

Does that mean it's on the Dark Web?

No. A website can be normal and still never appear in search results. Not everything online is searchable.
