The Miracle of Fátima is the most widely recognised miracle in modern Catholicism, reportedly witnessed by almost 100,000 individuals. On October 13, 1917, a vast crowd assembled in the town of Fátima, Portugal, in response to claims made by three shepherd children, Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, that the Virgin Mary had appeared to them and foretold her return on that date to perform a public miracle. The event garnered substantial public and media attention, attracting devout believers but also skeptics, journalists and photographers seeking to observe and document the event.
During WW I, Portugal was gripped by hardship and despair, with widespread sentiments of war and revolution. When the shepherd children in the mountainous village of Fátima claimed to have been visited by angels, their accounts offered renewed hope to a disillusioned nation. Following the assassination of the King of Portugal and the subsequent abolition of the monarchy, the new government, dominated by Freemasons who valued science and progress over religion, implemented strict anti-clerical policies. Religious activities were suppressed, devotees arrested or exiled and the anti-Catholic laws enacted in 1911 rendered 'visions' both subversive and intolerable.
At this time, approximately 70 per cent of the peasant population in Portugal was illiterate and education was limited to agricultural labour skills. They were a simple yet devout people. Observers noted that the messages reported in the Fátima apparitions were theologically sophisticated, far beyond what uneducated children could be expected to articulate. Out of fear and skepticism, even their families doubted their claims, yet despite ridicule and hostility, the children remained steadfast in their conviction and consistent in their accounts.
During the reported miracle, numerous witnesses claimed that the silver sun appeared to dance, spin, or zigzag across the sky, plunge toward the Earth and emit radiant, multicoloured light. These phenomena allegedly lasted for about ten minutes. However, prolonged direct observation of the sun can cause solar retinopathy, leading to visual distortions such as bright colours and the illusion of movement, effects consistent with many descriptions from that day.
Some scholars have suggested the possibility of deliberate tampering with the water supply of the town, potentially inducing hallucinatory experiences among those gathered; however, not all witnesses reported observing any unusual phenomena. Photographers present at the scene captured no evidence of extraordinary occurrences, focusing instead on documenting the crowds of kneeling worshippers holding rosary beads. Given that photographic technology was already well developed and widely accessible, the absence of visual confirmation remains notable.
Is it also conceivable that the power of suggestion, intensified by the social and emotional strain of wartime, contributed to collective perception or belief? The children claimed to have witnessed visions of hell and demonic suffering so terrifying that they were overcome with fear until the Virgin Mary revealed a vision of heaven. As the sun 'rushed' toward the Earth, many in the crowd reportedly experienced similar terror. Concerned about potential government reprisal, the townspeople refrained from sharing accounts of the event until after the 1917 apparitions became widely known. Fear is the ultimate controller in the chaos of war.
Is it possible that the angelic apparitions of the late 1800s and early 1900s were manufactured by some kind of technology unknown to the people, such as the purported Project Blue Beam or a CGI effect? What kind of power would this have over Catholic countries during what was known as the Great War? Moreover, how would it affect peasant people without education? Could this event have truly been a miracle or perhaps even some kind of satanic deception? Notably, few of the prophecies eventuated. Both Fransisco and Jacinta died in a flu pandemic shortly after the apparitions.

🚨 CHINA'S MILITARY PURGE REACHES THE VERY TOP — XI'S #2 IS OUT
This is much bigger than just the removal of two generals.
The scale is larger than just a handful: credible analyses count dozens of confirmed senior removals since the current purge accelerated in 2023, with potentially more than 100 senior officers affected when disappearances and suspected investigations are included. CSIS counted at least 36 senior officers officially expelled or dismissed by early 2026 and said as many as 101 may have been removed.
The purge has already swept through some of the most powerful positions in China's military:
• PLA Rocket Force leadership — the branch responsible for China's nuclear and conventional missile arsenal
• Wei Fenghe — former Defense Minister and CMC member
• Li Shangfu — former Defense Minister and CMC member
• Miao Hua — CMC member and head of the Political Work Department
• He Weidong — CMC vice chairman and Politburo member
• Wang Houbin — commander of the PLA Rocket Force
• Lin Xiangyang — former commander of the Eastern Theater Command, responsible for the Taiwan-facing theater
• Yuan Huazhi — former political commissar of the PLA Navy
• Wang Chunning — commander of the People's Armed Police
• Numerous other senior generals and officers
🔴 AND NOW THE PURGE HAS REACHED XI'S #2.
Gen. Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, has been expelled from the Communist Party and military.
Zhang wasn't simply another general. He was effectively #2 in China's military hierarchy behind Xi Jinping, who chairs the Central Military Commission.
Gen. Liu Zhenli, a CMC member and chief of the Joint Staff Department, was expelled alongside him.
And notice how far this has progressed:
ROCKET FORCE → DEFENSE MINISTERS → THEATER COMMANDERS → SERVICE LEADERSHIP → POLITICAL LEADERSHIP → JOINT STAFF → CMC MEMBERS → CMC VICE CHAIRMEN → XI'S #2
Whatever ultimately explains the full scope of what is happening inside the PLA, the scale is extraordinary.
China hasn't simply replaced a few military officials.
A substantial portion of the senior military command has been systematically removed since 2023 — and now the purge has reached the man directly beneath Xi at the top of the military hierarchy.

Under one corporate umbrella, David Ellison would oversee Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros.; Paramount+ and HBO Max; and corporate ownership encompassing CBS News and CNN. The combined company would also control an enormous entertainment library, including Harry Potter, DC, Game of Thrones, Mission: Impossible, Top Gun and SpongeBob.
The real significance won't be the merger itself—it will be what the new ownership chooses to do with all of those cultural assets. If Ellison's leadership ultimately changes which movies and television programs receive investment, what kinds of stories Hollywood emphasizes, and the editorial direction or institutional culture surrounding its news properties, the effects could extend well beyond entertainment.
This merger creates the capacity for one ownership transition to have an enormous cultural impact—and I think that's what people are underestimating.

Today, a major FAA communications outage caused widespread disruption across some of the busiest airspace in the country.
According to officials, the incident involved a failure of the primary communications circuit — followed by the discovery that the backup fiber connection had already been physically severed during railroad construction in New Jersey.
The result: controllers temporarily lost critical radar data and radio communications, triggering ground stops and disruptions affecting major Northeast airports.
But here’s where the timing gets interesting…
⚠️ ON THE SAME DAY, a new government watchdog report warned about cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the nation’s aviation infrastructure — including threats involving hacking, spoofing and jamming.
The report also raised concerns about the FAA’s ability to comprehensively detect certain threats in real time.
So, to be clear:
❌ There is currently NO evidence that today’s FAA outage was caused by a cyberattack.
☑ Officials currently attribute it to a primary circuit failure combined with the previously damaged backup fiber.
But after everything we’ve been documenting lately involving cyberattacks, critical infrastructure vulnerabilities, “zero-day” reporting and warnings about attacks on U.S. systems, having a massive FAA communications failure occur the very same day a government report warns about aviation cyber vulnerabilities is one hell of a coincidence.
Two separate stories.
Same day.
Same critical infrastructure.
And definitely worth adding to the timeline. 👀
