Football of whatever kind is just cringe-coliseum. Fighting-age men chase a ball around instead of actually fighting, those men are immediately cancelled if they fight even for one second. No weapons allowed. No one ever dies, except perhaps by ‘sudden and unexpected’ heart attack –a consequence of their ongoing conformity💉 The most exciting thing that ever happens is when a player gets frustrated and makes an ‘offensive’ statement or gesture, but this moment is always followed by a crushing disappointment when the player frantically apologises, for fear of jeopardising his assets & sponsorships. Spectators are reported and thrown out the stadium if they say anything racist or overly inflammatory (happens in Australia). They also get subtly brainwashed into buying stuff by illuminated corporate logos flashing in their face throughout the entire game. But nobody ever just looks at this sport objectively and asks themselves what the hell they’re watching, they just keep watching it because: a) They’re allowed to watch it, and b) It’s what everyone else does

So 3 years after the fact, one judge realises what everyone else saw and almost forgot about. The Australian courts make my nana’s pet turtle seem like The Flash. I too am not a fan of the censorship in Australia, but on Musk’s claim of “free speech for Aussies on X” I call bullshit. I just post my thoughts, I don’t even reply to comments or engage in discussion. There’s no legitimacy behind the ‘abusive behaviour’ excuse used to censor me six years ago. Anyone down here would agree that I was the original case for political censorship in Australia. I was the first Australian to suddenly lose access to Facebook, Twitter, my personal bank account –and also the first person convicted for a ‘hate-speech’ legal precedent down in Melbourne (intent to incite ridicule). If Elon really wanted to demonstrate that he was offering free speech to Australians, he wouldn’t be rejecting my appeals.
