Having friends that don't speak your language helps (in my case I don't speak it that well too) Listening obsessively to only one accent you like and trying to micmic it helps as well. In school, I had to listen to British accent because of our learning materials and also I was into British youtubers. Looking back at it, it was because of school. You environment online helps.
