interview tips for ur eae cmg from someone who has
- conducted interviews for cca recruitment
- have been accepted to multiple jobs
- taken a whole module about interviews
1. presence- speak clearly dont mumble, TRY to reduce filler words (like, uh,mmm, etc.) - hands on the table/ in a visable place to avoid fidgeting. use this as an opportunity to make use of hand gestures as well! - sit up straighttttt!!! posture says alott - this might be difficult, but try to be the first/first few to answer if ure in a group setting. make sure the interviewer doesnt call on u to answer
2. communication- this might be stupid but js use peel to ans qns so u dont end up straying from the point/rambling - link as much of ur portfolio to keywords in the course description/modules offered. read upon the course on the website and see how it relates to ur experience and expand on that during qns like 'why did u choose this course' or 'why do you think you are a good fit for this course' or even 'tell us abit about yourself' - emphasise that you're not all talk and give reason for why you think you'll do well. no'i will work very hard to do well because i like this course' e.g. keywords: 'Fascinated by consumer behaviour and its impact on successful marketing' the example also relates to modules like marketing, consumer behaviour and business statistics 'i have a strong interest in marketing and have a small clothing business and market my products weekly. after a while, i started noticing patterns with how different timings or phrasings affect my posts and subsequent sales. this sparked my interest in wanting to know how consumer behaviour or psychology impacts my marketing tactics. studying in this course will allow me to apply that knowledge to my business, strengthening my understanding of it. moreover, as a business owner, ive received customer feedback, be it good or bad, and tweaked my business accordingly. i track monthly sales and post views/subscribers gained and see what my audience likes. with all this experience and my keen interest, im sure to be motivated to do my best in this course'
3. preparation- ensure yk everything in ur portfolio AND how to expand on it if the interviewers ask - have prewritten answers for common qns (i thinkkkk u cn find them on reddit??) else, u cn js ask ur tchers - sleep well legittt ur brain will move sm faster which is what u nd during an interview - yall may be going for interviews for diff courses so make sure yk how each part of ur portfolio applies to each diff course (section 2 pt 2) i think thats allllll, drop any qns u hv in the comments n ill try my best to answer them hope these helppp <3
