Ukrainian drone unit "Birds of the Magyar" has destroyed a Russian "Spirit-030" communications terminal, a relatively new and compact system featuring a 30 cm antenna compared to the 90 cm antenna found on older Starlink terminals, making it harder to detect and easier to relocate. Ukrainian Ministry of Defence advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov has identified these terminals as a priority target for all UAV operators. #hm #hmintelligence

A video posted online appears to show the wreckage of an Iranian mobile transporter-erector-launcher (TEL), likely associated with medium-range ballistic missiles such as the Khaybar Shekan, which has a range of approximately 1,450 km and uses solid fuel. While the loss represents a tactical gain, particularly if the system was loaded and ready to launch, it is not strategically significant given the scale of Iran's TEL inventory, its use of underground storage and its ongoing domestic production. Iranian forces are firing small arms at US aircraft conducting search operations for the crew of an F-15E shot down over Iran. #hm #hmintelligence

So what It appears likely that the US has lost an aircraft over Iran and the initial denial is designed to give the crew a chance to escape. While it is unclear if Iran has indeed captured the crew, if they have it will be a massive propaganda win and could have a significant effect in the conflict. It is possible it could lead to a special forces recovery operation which would escalate the conflict further.

Iran's state-run Mehr News Agency has called on Iranian civilians to assist in capturing the pilot and weapons officer of an American F-15E Strike Eagle, which Iranian authorities claim was shot down over Southern Iran earlier today. Additionally, footage has emerged (second & third clip) showing U.S. Air Force HC-130J Combat King II search and rescue aircraft and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters flying at low altitude over Southern Iran, with the operation believed to be a search for the crew of a downed F-15E Strike Eagle. However, CENTCOM have released a statement on X claiming that no such incident has taken place.
