The Tuapse (often spelled Tuapase) oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, operated by Rosneft, is a key Black Sea export hub processing up to ~240,000 barrels per day of crude into diesel and fuel oil. It was hit by Ukrainian drones twice in April 2026, on April 16, striking storage tanks and causing a massive multi-day fire; and again overnight on April 20, targeting the tank farm and seaport, sparking fresh fires, damaging a gas pipeline, killing at least one person, injuring another, and prompting temporary flight restrictions. Ukraine has confirmed the strikes aimed at disrupting Russian oil exports and war funding. #hm #hmintelligence
