realizing that a proper sleep schedule is important, after all, to stay awake during the day
get proper sleep, really. if you don’t want an eye strain like i did.
3,2,1 - isn’t it one a lovely technique
simple but works
it taps into the idea of interrupting your brain’s autopilot mode and forcing a small moment of conscious decision-making
all you do is just counting backwards to push yourself to stop scrolling (or whatever procrastination way) and do the work
+2
Comparison paralysis.
It’s a simple, probably very relatable term—you feel stuck because it’s overwhelming to watch so many people succeed while you’re, well, still not there yet.
You start thinking you’re behind before you even begin.
And then you do nothing.
Just sit there. Scroll. Feel bad. Repeat.
Perhaps a lot of us have been there.
I’ve been listening to a podcast with Dave Ramsey a few days ago and honestly it was very refreshing to listen to his ideas, simple but genuine.
If we talk about success, and money in particular, 2/3 of millionaires across the globe have graduated public universities, not prestigious private schools (which constituted only 8%).
What actually has a stronger correlation with income?
Being at the top of your class, wherever you are.
We love to think that life gets smooth and beautiful and hopefully easier once you’ve hit the “successful” level.
But no. You fall, get up, fall again. It doesn’t stop.
You’ll still feel miserable sometimes, just like you do now. The main difference, though, might be your perception of these feelings.
Because when you have got a sack of accomplishments behind your back, you’ve got more faith in your ability to move on. Confidence comes with achievements, after all, not mere hollow words.
Some people never truly recover from failure as they keep on living in the past cycle, be that divorce or a business crash. But as long as you keep on moving, you’re good to go.
Just one step ahead, even if you don’t know the direction. Just do the next right thing and you’ll see how it accumulates over time. Future growth too comes easier with each next step - once you’re on the positive side of the momentum, the growth is exponential. Each of your next rewards will be built on your previous efforts.
So yeah, stop torturing yourself with what others are doing.
Just do real work. Think of how you can think and serve people.
Fear only wins if you sit still.
(i just liked the above photos, would feel bad not to add)

beautiful dates come rarely
but beautiful days are there always🤍
imagine getting a phone call from an HR manager at Deloitte telling they liked your application and would like to call for an interview only to later be asked “you are 4th year student, right?”
- no, freshman:)
- ah, so sorry then. unfortunately we’re hiring only graduates or senior students. we hope you’ll apply again in the future!
they did say that they will recruit students for internships in January
*the email above is from KPMG

there is something about summer that makes every memory feel like it's wrapped in gauze and golden light, as a symbol of those fleeting, intoxicating moments where someone - or smth -feels too radiant to be real. it's like those glances in the golden hour, so beautiful it hurts. for me, summer happens to be the season where all those memories are concentrated.
don't we all have such memories sometimes - random but cinematic, like a personal music video or a summer wind slipping through a cracked window?
once we went swimming in a lake with friends. one of them my childhood friend. his hair golden under sunlight, eyes green looking at and through me as he asks me to set the time to see how long it takes him to reach the other bridge. the sun reflecting off the water, his laughter light and almost surreal, and the golden shimmering over everything. it's wild how our minds can turn such rare but almost perfect moments into mythology in one suspended-in-time afternoon.
that's what summer does. no longing, no bitterness, just a soft place in your mind where such scenes live. most people either bury the past or drown in it, but hey, let it breathe: not as smth you need, just smth you're glad exists.
and as summer gets closer with each longer day, i can't help but smile for the chance of once again seeing late purple dusks, or gardens bathed in rich green with soft scents of a peach tree, or the heat drowning you in its heaviness, slowing everything down for you to just notice your life.

a small advice for girls:
truly busy people are good at managing their schedule, and finding time when it matters. they might be involved in several projects, be studying and working, but they are responsive when they say they will text/call you at a specific time and will make a plan as promised.
but if he keeps taking long to respond, says he couldn’t find time consistently - he just doesn’t care. stop waiting for his response.
same can applies to people in general. respect your own time.
yay
working straight for 8 hours writing what i have been putting off for weeks.
prepared myself coffee, took a cold shower to stay awake - all ready for an all-nighter.
my eyes hurt. but work is done. happy.
morale? do not put off till the last days
10/10 recommend walking away when your peace of mind is the price, not the reward.
my friend currently studying in Czech Republic🇨🇿
also part of 101 Team
quite a nice talk
support welcomed🕊️

hey
i wish sometimes i could go to park with girls and just enjoy the spring, not sitting in front of my laptop at 2am for several days in a row.
or carrying other people’s problems on my shoulders.
but then, that wouldn’t be me? there is its own beauty in all this.
anyways, will make sure to spend my weekend properly.
the weather these days is very pleasant, after all
yesterday was so oddly beautiful
i’m back in my hometown, Namangan, for the weekend.
went to the cemetery with family - a lot of people came to see their loved ones. we go there every other week, so seeing such a crowd is a rarity.
poppy flowers bloomed everywhere and the earth was drowning in greenery. the usual stillness replaced by the hushed voices of visitors, the birds chirping and the wind gliding through the grass - all kept the serenity unique only to this place.
couldn’t hold my tears.
in the evening shared pilaf with the neighbors - such a nice, heartwarming tradition, honestly.
hopefully today will be even more beautiful, filled with joy and happiness for you all.
Eid Mubarak🤍

WON GLOBAL UGRAD. YAY.
Thank God.
Today was hectic. Exam in the morning which I barely managed to come on time to.
Then IT Community project. If you remember I mentioned organizing an event there, a gamified competition for tech beginners. We had our MVP today, with around 8 team participants of 4 to 5 people. The event was almost certain to be a disaster - technical issues in the last minute, the website we were creating didn’t work, with all the games in it - yet somehow turned out pretty memorable. I had to keep the audience engaged as the host, but when you know your team messed up, you can’t even hide that in your voice as it gets cracky with each word on the stage. But, до поры до времени. I confirmed for myself that I feel better the more I stay on the stage, the more comfortable I get with being the lead of the event. At the end, instead of hosting the website, we just made the participants write on handouts and showed the questions as PDF in old good format.
I was literally ready to hide from everyone at some point, go to a quiet place and cry for some time from the fact that sometimes, no matter what you do, things still go wrong. Right, you’re the manager, so you are responsible for the outcome even if the development of the game was not your part. You had to find way to take everything under control. Yet, yeah, mess happens. Shavkat Karimov, the director of ITCom, was kind and supportive enough to explain to me that I should take this experience as a great lesson not to be repeated in the future - so, better be thankful that things went wrong. How do we learn otherwise?
In the middle of this all, right during the competition, I receive this email.
Couldn’t hide my smile.
I applied to UGRAD in October last minute, because I didn’t know that freshmen were eligible too. As my plans of going to the US didn’t realize as my parents felt it was too early, I was skeptical about this program too.
Yet, seems like we’re spending our next semester in the US:)
what a day
haven’t taken a proper look at his courses yet.
but i see a lot of people obsessing over this Academy.
given so, why not give a try
