Types: - Simple Present: I walk to school. - Present Continuous: I am walking to school. - Present Perfect: I have walked to school. - Present Perfect Continuous: I have been walking to school. 2. Past Tense Use for actions that happened in the past. Structure: Subject + past form of verb Examples: - I ate breakfast yesterday. - She went to the market. Before we continue for part 2, here is the explanation of preposition : What is a preposition? A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in the sentence. It usually tells you where, when, or how something happens. Types of Prepositions: 1. Prepositions of Place (di mana?) - in: The books are in the bag. - on: The phone is on the table. - under: The cat is under the bed. 2. Prepositions of Time (bila?) - at: She arrives at 7 p.m. - on: We met on Monday. - in: He was born in August. 3. Prepositions of Direction/Movement (ke mana?) - into: She walked into the room. - onto: The ball rolled onto the road. - towards: He ran towards the car. 4. Prepositions of Cause, Reason or Purpose - because of: The game was cancelled because of the rain. - due to: He was late due to traffic. 5. Prepositions of Manner - by: She travelled by car. - with: He wrote the letter with a pen. Tips: - Prepositions are always followed by a noun or pronoun (never a verb). - Never use double prepositions (e.g. “inside of” is incorrect — just say “inside”). - Common prepositions: in, on, at, by, to, from, with, about, for, of, over, under, between, into, out of
