Iām exploring the possibility of bringing Ecstatica I and II to Android after discovering promising files that could help make both ports a reality
Android Game Porting Methods
There are three main approaches to porting games to Android
ā¢ Native Port Fully porting the original source code to Android
ā¢ Wrapper Port Packaging the original game inside an APK using an emulator or compatibility layer
ā¢ Reengineered Port Adapting the game through a compatible engine and libraries to improve controls graphics compatibility and performance
I will use the third approach when the original source code is unavailable and reverse engineering is not feasible especially for classic Nintendo games
