Android Game Porting Methods
There are three main approaches to porting games to Android
• Native Port Fully porting the original source code to Android
• Wrapper Port Packaging the original game inside an APK using an emulator or compatibility layer
• Reengineered Port Adapting the game through a compatible engine and libraries to improve controls graphics compatibility and performance
I will use the third approach when the original source code is unavailable and reverse engineering is not feasible especially for classic Nintendo games
