i started my sunday with this documentary and ngl i couldn’t understand everything because it’s literally about one of the biggest mysteries we still have to figure out consciousness 😂 but one thing the narrator talked about really rang a bell in my head, especially the stuff about quantum measurement and how measuring a system can affect the state we observe then there was the whole double slit experiment and the question of whether light behaves like a wave or a particle depending on how we measure it and somehow my restless brain connected that with the law of attraction ya ya i’m also the guy who thinks the law of attraction is scientifically unsupported bullshit that got turned into a marketing idea by some author who was cooking way too hard lmao but the funny part is i used to be deeply obsessed with that shit growing up 😭 so my brain went if measuring a quantum system affects what state we observe, what happens when we constantly think about our future and visualize it in one specific way could repeatedly focusing on one possible future somehow influence the reality we end up creating not because our thoughts magically collapse the universe into whatever we want, but because the way we focus on something changes what we notice, what decisions we make and how we act and then my brain immediately asked the next question if that’s actually how it works, how do we shape our perception and actions toward the outcome we actually want blah blah blah don’t try too hard to understand what i mean because i’m not sure i understood it either 😭 oh boy thinking is hard loool
