Every time I want to do something big or challenging, the thought I can't do this, I don't have enough skill pops into my head. I thought a lot of you might share this feeling too. Just now, I saw a shop owner struggling with something... part of my mind said, Go talk to him, you can solve his problem with the skills you have. but the other part said, man, you can't do this, it's too hard. by the time I fighting with myself, he was already gone 🥲 @girma_thoughts

Please dev, when you create a form, could you add a show/hide toggle for the password? I'm always struggling with it.

Introducing Proofdrops 🚀 Proofdrops — a blockchain-based certificate verification system I’ve been working on Proofdrops, built around a simple problem: How do you prove a certificate is authentic without relying entirely on a PDF or manually contacting the issuing institution? The idea is to give certificates a verifiable digital proof that can be checked independently. 🛠 The stack Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS Storage: Browser LocalStorage Blockchain: Smart contracts for recording and verifying certificate proofs The flow is basically: Certificate → Generate proof → Record proof → Verify The certificate itself doesn't need to live on-chain. Instead, Proofdrops creates a cryptographic proof and uses the blockchain as the trust layer. 🎯 What could it solve? * Fake or forged certificates * Slow manual verification * Institutions having to verify credentials individually * Difficulty validating credentials across organizations * Lost or damaged physical certificates The bigger idea is simple: Make credentials easier to verify without making trust depend entirely on a central authority. 🌐 🔗 Live Demo 💻 GitHub
