Go get an X-ray…it could be because they’re impacted And if they are impacted, it’s generally recommended to remove them before you’re 25, because removal can get more complicated after 25, and impacted wisdom teeth have a very high probability of causing problems for the neighboring teeth over time

I just found out from an X-ray that my wisdom teeth are horizontally impacted, and I need to get rid of ’em to prevent complications in the future (cuz they could affect my neighboring molars). why do they even call them “wisdom” teeth?
