Lately, my mind has been haunting me telling me I need to figure out something that will make me a good amount of money, become financially stable, and settle down as soon as possible. But then i read this, and it was sort of a relief. maybe our 20s are for trying new things, failing, learning, and figuring out ourselves. we don’t have to rush to settle.

My God, what a legend! Recently, I saw an Instagram reel that said when Adam and Eve sinned, Adam’s curse was “ጥረህ ግረህ ትበላለህ” Eve’s curse, was “ምጥሽን ጣርሽን አበዛዋለሁ”....and Eve has always been carrying her curse alone. But for Adam, his curse somehow became shared. cuz women hustle too. So when a woman and a man achieve the same thing, I don’t see it the same way... not because I’m sexist, not because I’m biased toward my gender.... but because for men, hustling is their default setting. For women, hustling comes on top of everything else they’re already carrying. And when I see amazing women like this women who’ve done it all, carried it all, and still stood tall, I can’t help but see them differently.
