Hi! My name is Yafet, but my gamer tag is Morph (DotA & CoD). Thank you for joining, I’m truly honored. A little about me: I’m a CS major and have been in the game for almost a decade. It’s been 90% corporate: my first gig was doing embedded systems programming, the second was working on OpenEDX for an edtech nonprofit, the third was working for the government on... well, a lot (we’ll talk about it :)), and my last full-time job was at Fayda as overlord of the engineering team. Now, I work on different projects mostly remote. I’m an MLOps guy/everything person and I started a podcast called Devtopia with Frectonz. Actually, let me tell you my programming journey 😊 I think I had just finished 10th grade when I saw a SoloLearn certificate on one of my friends’ Telegram profile pictures. I asked him what it was, and he sent me the app. When I opened it, I got really excited and wanted to earn one for myself 🤓 I still remember how I jumped out of my blankets and started memorizing C++ code 😂 Another day, while we were talking, he suggested that I start learning HTML since it was easier. And I did… Fast forward two years: I hated HTML and didn’t want to touch it anymore 😅 We’ll continue when we hit 100 subs 😁 @yeab_dev #storyTime
