I remember the first time I touched fabric.
It wasnât just cloth to me.
It felt like something was hiding inside it.
Like if I looked long enough, Iâd see the shape of something new.
I didnât know what I was doing, but I wanted to try.
I didnât care if the lines were wrong or if I cut the wrong side.
I just wanted to make something.
Now when I see people ask, âHow do you start?â
I donât know how to answer.
Because for some of us⊠we didnât start.
We just kept touching fabric.
Good morning and win today.

Letâs talk about the overbust corset!
If you want a garment that combines elegance, structure, and support, the overbust corset is a classic choice. It extends above the bust line, giving you more coverage, shaping, and lift.
From a patternmakerâs perspective, itâs more than just drawing curves and adding boning. An overbust corset needs precise shaping at the underbust and overbust areas, no guessing here!
It all begins with a basic bodice pattern. So if youâre already comfortable making bustiers, the overbust corset is your next exciting project. And donât worry, itâs not as intimidating as it seems once you have the right foundation!
If youâd like a little extra help, our pattern ebook can guide you every step of the way.

So, let's talk about đąđżđŽđźđ»đđź đłđźđŻđżđ¶đ°.
Organza is a type of lightweight plain weave fabric.
This type of fabric is sheer, which means that it is woven in an extremely low density that results in a transparent and relatively flimsy textile.
Due to its transparency and high breathability, organza fabric is commonly used to make garments that overlay thicker types of apparel such as satin or silk.
When paired with satin or silk, it create an added dimension and shine.
Organza has an air of romance đ and it's a sturdy (firm) fabric that can withstand washing.
We have different types of organza, ranging from:
Plain organza
Embroidered organza
Floral organza
Mirror organza
Crystal organza.
Since organza is so thin and lightweight, it is highly susceptible to damage. Avoid catching organza textiles on snags, and make sure to wrap it in a protective substance, such as muslin, when it is in storage.
Note: there is possibly more types of organza.
