Maintain two simple error lists:
1. Conceptual Confusion List For topics where you mix up concepts.Example: - Mandamus vs Certiorari - Money Bill vs Financial Bill - Salinity variation vs Temperature variation Format: Topic | Confusing Concepts | Correct Difference | PYQ
2. Factual Forgetfulness List For facts, years, numbers, reports that you keep forgetting.Example: - East flowing rivers from odisha, Tamil Nadu. - Current Ramsar Sites in India - Personalities - books Format: Fact | Why I Forgot | Memory Trick | Revision Frequency How to use: - Update after every reading/mock/pyqs - Revise Conceptual List 2–3 times a week - Revise the Factual List every day (10–15 mins) This small habit can easily add 8–15 marks in Prelims.

National Quantum Mission achieves 1,000-km secure communication milestone
India has successfully demonstrated a 1,000-km secure quantum communication network, which is one of the longest in the world
This achievement comes less than two years after the mission's launch in October 2024, far outpacing the original timeline to reach 2,000 km in eight years.
The technology was developed by an Indian startup called QNu Labs, highlighting India's capability to build homegrown cybersecurity solutions.
This network will significantly strengthen secure communications for the military (defense), banks (financial systems), and other critical national infrastructure.
The technology is designed to work in difficult environments, including underwater and underground, making it useful for both civilian and strategic purposes.
The government has increased its support for quantum startups from 8 to 17, adding 9 new deep-tech ventures to the program.
These startups are working on advanced projects like biosensors for disease detection, precision electronics, and quantum positioning systems.
The Technology Development Board (TDB) received over 100 research proposals in just two months, showing that the private sector is very interested in deep-tech innovation.
The biotechnology sector is also booming, with nearly 200 applications received for research in cancer treatment, gene therapy, and bio-manufacturing
The government is using new funding methods (like optionally convertible debt) to help startups grow without the founders losing immediate control (equity) of their companies.

Pax Silica was very much in the news this year.
Do read about it.
Last year, they asked a question on the Minerals Security Partnership (2025).

Most aspirants are misinformed. And they don't even realize how costly this can proved to be. It's only when they face failures and analyse, they understand how misinformed they had been by the coaching institutions and YouTube click baits.
Suggestion: Don't run after last-minute revision plans, 12-hour marathon sessions, or new sources. Instead, consolidate what you have already covered.
