as false ribs because they articulate with the sternum indirectly, as their
cartilage joins the cartilage of the seventh rib. Ribs 11 and 12 are called floating ribs because they do not articulate with the sternum at all
تسمى الأضلاع 1-7 بالأضلاع الحقيقية لأنها تتمفصل مباشرة مع
القص عن طريق المرفقات الغضروفية. الأضلاع 8-10 معروفة
كأضلاع كاذبة لأنها تتمفصل مع عظم القص بشكل غير مباشر
