Totalmente a contramano del mundo moderno, que usa estás fechas para “desconectarse”, embotar su físico con comida, adormilar su conciencia con alcohol y festejar con regalos materiales, queremos recuperar estas fiestas a su significado primigenio, que tienen que ver más con conectar con el ritmo del Cosmos, las fuerzas de la Naturaleza y fortalecer la luz de la Conciencia.
Tampoco creemos que esté mal celebrar con seres queridos, disfrutar el momento y darse un gusto, pero bien se podría revivificar los símbolos ya vacíos y hacer profundo lo superficial para vivir más plenamente.
Siendo está civilización tan supersticiosa (aunque se cubra con un ropaje “científico” para al menos parecer evolucionada), se ha creado una coraza de ignorancia creyendo que la esencia de las cosas y el poder de la naturaleza no son más que “superadas” fantasías y supersticiosas costumbres. Por ello no alcanza a comprenderlas.
La fiesta del 25 de diciembre y la de fin de año se festejan desde tiempos inmemoriales y probablemente sea la festividad más tradicional de la humanidad. Ella está indisolublemente unida a los ciclos del Sol, el centro se nuestro sistema planetario y su componente más importante en tanto es el dador de la energía para sostener la vida. Es claro que esto no tiene nada que ver con la absurda creencia en que los pueblos antiguos divinizaran los fenómenos naturales en forma supersticiosa, sino con la clara visión de la importancia que éste tiene y la tradicional asunción que en la antigüedad se hizo de los símbolos como portadores de significados espirituales, soportes ofrecidos por la Naturaleza, como parte de un Cosmos, para enseñar el sentido trascendental del Absoluto y el papel del hombre en él.
Fue solo con el avance de la decadencia que los significados fueron perdidos y las creencias vacías de contenido fueron degenerando.
La fecha del Solsticio de diciembre, que en el calendario Juliano ocurría un 25 diciembre, actualmente 21 de diciembre en el calendario gregoriano, fue festejada por el hemisferio norte, de dónde provienen nuestras cultura occidental con sus tradiciones indoarias e hiperbóreas, como un homenaje al Sol que en aquel solsticio de invierno llega a su punto más bajo y los días comienzan a ser cada vez más largos (en el hemisferio sur sería al revés), lo que es tomado como el renacimiento del Sol. Por ello en el Imperio Romano se celebra como “Natalis Solis Invictos”, nacimiento del Sol Invicto. Por eso es que los héroes solares, como el Dios Mithra en la época romana, nacen un 25 de diciembre, por lo mismo que el cristianismo elige está fecha en el siglo IV y hasta el día de hoy la celebramos así.
Este Dios invencible de los romanos,asimilado al sol invicto, se presta entonces a representar la función de símbolo trascendente. Pues así como el Sol renace y triunfa por sobre las tinieblas, las que huyen espantadas ante la luz, así también la naturaleza inferior del hombre y sus propios demonios son vencidos por la luz de la Conciencia de su Ser.
Este es el verdadero significado de la supuesta “adoración supersticiosa de la Naturaleza” de la que los modernos se burlan para esconder su ignorancia y superficialidad.
Las fiestas de la antigüedad se alineaban a los grandes acontecimientos del Cosmos para dotarlas de su fuerza primordial y de allí son plantadas en lo más profundo del hombre para que esté encuentre su camino en el ritmo del Absoluto, ese es el verdadero camino hacia la divinización. ¿Qué adoración superior puede ofrecer el hombre moderno como para burlarse de aquella?
