Today, I wandered through it all by myself. No one to follow, no plans I had to keep up with—just me, my own little pace, and Barcelona unfolding in front of me. I walked along La Rambla, wandered between the colorful stalls of the market, tried some fresh fruit along the way, and stopped whenever something caught my attention. There was something almost magical about having nowhere I needed to rush to, letting the day unfold one tiny moment at a time. Maybe solo days aren't as lonely as they sound; sometimes they're just quiet invitations to notice the world a little more. And today, I was more than happy to accept. 🍓🧺☀️

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗔 𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗔 🍊🇪🇸 — La Rambla felt like a little river of people flowing through the heart of Barcelona, filled with sounds, colors, tiny surprises, and stories passing by with every step. Somewhere along the way was Mercat de la Boqueria, bursting with bright fruits, little stalls, and all sorts of beautiful things to look at. I couldn't resist stopping by one of the fruit stalls and trying some of the fresh fruit there—it felt like the loveliest little treat to have while wandering through the market. #TaxTakesSpain

Strolling along Passeig de Gràcia with With Serena, James, Moza, Daniela, Ali, Britany, Blaire, Jonah, Serenoi, Naira and Jose. We’re getting lost somewhere between the old stones of the Gothic Quarter, and ending the day exactly how Barcelona intended — sangria, a table full of tapas, and good company. 🇪🇸🍷 A little wandering, a little indulgence, and plenty of moments worth slowing down for.

SPAIN AFTER HOURS // After a full day of sightseeing, Zion decided we deserved a night out, and Rudolph and Francis were more than happy to agree. Brigitta and Britany got ready, Serenoi, Fairuz, and Blaire came along for drinks, and Siennamore, Daniela, Serena, and Devora completed the little midnight crew. We said we'd only stay out for a while. We obviously did not. One drink became another, a quick walk became a whole detour, and suddenly it was one of those nights none of us wanted to end first day of #TaxTakesSpain.

Somewhere in the middle of all that wandering, Olaf called. And apparently, it was finally our turn to have our little moment on the phone. One by one, Ali, Serenoi, Britany, Jose, Shaher, and Francis joined in, each taking their turn to call and catch up for a while.
It was such a small thing in the middle of a day spent exploring a city so far away, but somehow hearing familiar voices made everything feel a little closer to home. Maybe that's the sweetest part of traveling—the little moments that remind you that even when you're wandering somewhere new, there are still people waiting to hear about it. 🤍

There was something almost
storybook-like about wandering
through the Gothic Quarter, where
every narrow alley seemed to lead
to another little corner waiting to
be discovered.
From its old stone walls and hidden streets, I slowly made my way toward Passeig de Gràcia, trading the quiet charm of the old quarter for grand buildings, elegant storefronts, and the lively rhythm of Barcelona. No real destination in mind, just letting the streets carry me wherever they wanted.

La Barceloneta felt like a little blue daydream tucked along the edge of Barcelona. The sea stretched endlessly beneath the soft sky, waves wandered gently toward the shore, and the breeze carried that warm, almost magical feeling of being somewhere far away from everything familiar. It was the kind of place that made time feel softer, as if the afternoon had nowhere else to be. I wandered there on my own this time, with nothing but the sea ahead of me and nowhere in particular I needed to be. I let my feet decide where to go, stopping whenever something caught my eye and letting the afternoon unfold in its own little rhythm. There was something strangely lovely about having the whole day to myself—just me, the sound of the waves, the sun above, and a quiet little moment that felt like it belonged only to me. Maybe that's the charm of getting lost somewhere new: sometimes, you find a softer version of yourself along the way. #TaxTakesSpain
