La Barceloneta felt like a little blue daydream tucked along the edge of Barcelona. The sea stretched endlessly beneath the soft sky, waves wandered gently toward the shore, and the breeze carried that warm, almost magical feeling of being somewhere far away from everything familiar. It was the kind of place that made time feel softer, as if the afternoon had nowhere else to be.
I wandered there on my own this time, with nothing but the sea ahead of me and nowhere in particular I needed to be. I let my feet decide where to go, stopping whenever something caught my eye and letting the afternoon unfold in its own little rhythm. There was something strangely lovely about having the whole day to myself—just me, the sound of the waves, the sun above, and a quiet little moment that felt like it belonged only to me. Our first morning started pretty slowly. Before heading anywhere, I spent some time reading, took a little walk around, and sat down with Mozaa to figure out where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do for the day. Eventually, we decided that La Sagrada Família would be our first stop. We wandered around, took plenty of pictures, made a BeReal together, and even happened to run into Danu along the way.
After making our way back, I took a little time to touch up before heading out again. Somewhere between destinations, we also stopped to get some flowers before continuing our little Barcelona adventure to Park Güell. It was a long day filled with walking, random little moments, and way too many pictures—but honestly, I wouldn't have wanted our first day any other way. #TaxTakesSpain | 38 |

Barcelona welcomed us with two of its most iconic spots: La Sagrada Família, with its breathtaking architecture and endless little details to admire, and Park Güell, where colorful mosaics, winding paths, and the view of the city made everything feel almost unreal.
