WHISKEY: page 2 - The main compartment is small enough to keep your essentials plus a smidge extra if absolutely needed. With what I have pictured here fitting in the main compartment I still have room for two more flash-bangs or other similar volume items like tubular nylon or field expedient antenna kit etc WHISKEY: page 3 - Sitting at the bottom of this pocket I’ve got an old issued Marine corps admin/GP pouch which houses multiple utility items such as marking/writing utensils, batteries, a portable battery bank (the cigarette pack is holding its place while the back is currently charging haha), waterproof matches, a water activated emergency light, an headlamp, and camouflage face paint. In here you can also place additional items like wet wipes, weapon maintenance items, etc. This is where I will typically carry redundancy/extra items as well like a second multi tool or an extra pair of eye pro. WHISKEY: page 4- The main compartment also carries a few water bottles and a fresh 6 magazine placard that is ready to replace my 3 mag placard that is usually on my plate carrier. This pocket is relatively thin and when the main compartment is packed out it adds pressure to this pocket making certain items towards the bottom harder to access especially with a gloved or cold hand. This is why items that I wouldn’t typically need immediately are stowed in here. Something that I’ve done in the past that always worked for me was taping a 550 cord tail to the MRE or whatever item I needed from the bottom of this pocket and tied a knot on the free end.
