Both King James I and the KJB Translators wanted "one more exact translation of the holy Scriptures into the Englifh tongue" (The Holy Bible/1611 KJB, The Epiftle Dedicatorie on Page 6 out of 1506), and the Holy Bible (which was and is also called from 1900s to today as the KJB) was translated from 1604-1611. This demolishes modern versionsists' claims of "King James I would support all modern versions and constant new translations". Also, the KJB Translators knew that "we [we= the KJB Translators] shall be traduced by Papifh [Papish] perfons at home or abroad" (Roman Catholics) and "we shall be maligned by [self] felfe-conceited brethen". King James I punished witches by executing and imprisoning the witches of Scotland: "A true discourse, of the apprehension of sundrye Witches lately taken in Scotland, some are executed, and some are yet imprisoned. One reason people will deny the KJB is because of an counterfiet edition called the 1631 Wicked Bible which does not represent the KJB or its rest of its editions in the 1600s to today Actually that edition was a counterfiet KJB, and the printer, Robert Barker, was fired from being the King's printer and the Wicked Bible was avoided and not used.  Because the Wicked Bible took out "not" from Exodus 20:14 while the 1611 & 1900 KJB editions kept "not",  the Wicked Bible is different from the KJB Exodus 20:14 KJB 1611 [14] Thou fhalt not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14 KJB 1900 [14] Thou shalt not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14 1631 Wicked Bible [14] Thou fhalt commit adultery. The King James Bible says to not commit adultery The Wicked Bible wants people to commit adultery. Changing one word makes a huge difference in what God said vs did not say. Unlike the error of the Wicked Bible, The editions of the KJB from 1611 to 1900 corrected printing errors and went from the Middle English of the 1600s, in which English was transitioning out the Old English of the 1100s-1500s towards today's Modern English. So the Wicked Bible is not the same as the KJB/King James Bible. The original 1611 KJB says "thou shalt NOT commit adultery". Someone that tries to tie a later, unused Wicked edition to the KJB is wrong as every single other KJB edition was from the 1611 KJB and all other KJB editions only modernized spelling of words like from "wordes" to "words". Every KJB edition for the past 400 years and longer, except for the not used & discarded "commit adultery" Wicked Bible, KEPT the word "NOT" and said "thou shalt NOT commit adultery". Many peeople clearly hate the KJB and will make up any unhistorical excuse from lying, slanderous, dishonest internet rumours because they do not want to humble themselves and have a final authority to read and believe in English. No, contrary to some critics, the King James Bible did not change the name of Jacob to James. Jacob is mentioned as the second son of Issac in the Old Testament throughout Genesis; and the apostle James is mentioned numerous times in the New Testament. Jacob and James are seperate persons, as Jacob lived before Jesus walked the earth, while the apostle James saw Jesus' miracles. The claim of "The KJV Bible changed the name of the apostolic writer Jacob to James, to honor an English king." is another made up, lying excuse to attack the KJB Genesis 25:19, 25-26 KJB [19] And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac: [25] And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. So it is a good idea to ignore claims of the KJB having supposed errors, because if it did have errors, then we English would never have the error free words of God in English and claims of KJB errors would have God break his promise in Psalm 12:6-7 to preserve forever and completely translate his words. Does the King James Bible remove or never mention tyrants or the word tyrant? What the modern versions do say many times, is say that their course was marked from the KJB, but then the modern versions do not even follow the KJB or Tyndale Example: ESV Preface on Page vii says: "The English Standard Version (ESV) stands in the classic mainstream of English Bible translations over the past half-millennium.
