Extension of Application Deadline and Test Dates for the National GAT   Dear Test Takers,   We would like to inform you that the application period for the National GAT, which was initially scheduled to end on October 6, 2023 [መስከረም 25 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም], has been extended. This extension is due to some technical issues that prevented certain test takers from applying within the original timeframe. As a result, the application date for the National GAT will remain open until Sunday, October 8, 2023 [እሑድ መስከረም 27 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] at 6:00 p.m. (ከቀኑ 12 ሰዐት). The test will be held between Tuesday, October 10, 2023 [ማክሰኞ መስከረም 29 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] and Thursday, October 12, 2023 [ሐሙስ ጥቅምት 01 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም]. Monday, October 9, 2023 [ሰኞ መስከረም 28 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] has been designated for an additional mock exam.   We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the technical issues, and we appreciate your understanding and patience. This extension will allow all eligible test takers to complete their applications within the new timeframe.

Dear Applicants, Please take note of the following issues: 1) We have identified an issue where some applicants' application process is still pending, even though they have completed the application and made payment through Telebirr. We would like to assure the applicants that we are working in collaboration with Ethio-telecom to resolve this issue. We will reconcile the payment data and import the applicants' information to ensure that they can access their Admission Tickets. 2)  It has come to our notice that some applicants have not received their username and password via email. To address this problem, we have devised the following solutions: a) In order to ensure that candidates receive their user credentials in a timely manner, we will be sending the details to the coordinators of their respective universities beforehand. This will allow the coordinators to distribute the credentials to the candidates directly. b) Candidates will have the option to request their user credentials by sending an email through the registration portal. By following this process, candidates will be able to access their credentials conveniently. 3) To address another concern that has arisen regarding the appearance of incorrect photos on some candidates' Admission Tickets, candidates can resolve the problem by regenerating their Admission Tickets. They can do this by visiting the designated link and entering their application number, mobile number, or email address. This will initiate the process of generating a new Admission Ticket with the correct photo. If you have any additional questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to us.

Announcement for Candidates of the National Graduate Admission Test (GAT) **** The Ministry of Education in partnership with Addis Ababa University, Ethio Telecom and all Public Universities is pleased to announce the dates and timetables of the Graduate Admission Test (GAT) at the national level from October 09 to 11, 2023 at various public universities.  We cordially invite candidates to apply for the test between October 02 and 06, 2023 and take a Mock GAT exam on one of the three days between October 4 and 6, 2023. The Graduate Admission Test (GAT) is designed to screen and determine the suitability of candidates for admission to a graduate program in any public and private university in the country.   GAT is administered digitally utilizing the private network infrastructure of the Public Universities and Higher Education Institutions.  Candidates are, therefore, required to take the test using computer labs at public universities. To register for the Graduate Admission test, applicants should log into Addis Ababa University’s portal: https://portal.aau.edu.et and sign into TeleBirr SuperApp AAU, GAT.
