Oh, long time no see haha π
. How r u doing? I know people were asking where I vanished to or if something happened. Iβm good, just got burnt out. So, the channelβs hitting its 3 year mark in May, and after all this time, Iβve hit a creative wall.
After such a long hiatus, I think Iβm ready to start creating again, though Iβm not 100% sure what thatβll look like yet. I thought about starting a new TikTok, but it seems like theyβve completely killed the photo-based accounts. Iβll probably stick to posting artist illustrations as wallpapers and maybe some of my old wallpaper designs. Anime episode wallpapers are likely a thing of the past, though I might still drop some PFPs or 3:4 images, but would you guys actually want those?"

Anime wallpapers are back? π Is everth1ne back to his prime? π
Wellβ¦ 50/50. I subscribed to Generative Fill for a month, and if I see the engagement growing, the anime wallpapers will return. If things stay the same, then I guess itβs just not meant to be. Just a heads-up: the next wallpapers will definitely have a watermark. Iβm still figuring out how to place it so that it doesnβt get in the way, but also avoids people from reposting them.

Iβve successfully finished 6 rounds of chemotherapy, and now I just need to go through some check-ups to make sure everythingβs really okay π₯³ Sorry I disappeared for a while and stopped keeping you updated, and also for not replying to many of you in chat - I just didnβt have the energy to do anything. The last 3 rounds really hit me hard both physically and mentally, especially the fourth and fifth ones, which were absolutely excruciating. But thankfully, I made it through, and Iβm so happy! If the check-ups show that things are ok, all Iβll need moving forward is maintenance therapy - basically just pills and vitamins.
Iβm endlessly grateful to everyone who sent me kind words and checked in on me. It truly means a lot. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones! πβΊοΈ
Now, Iβd like to talk a bit about the channel and my other socials. While I was in the hospital, I had a lot of time to think about what I actually want to do nextβ¦ and honestly, I still donβt have a clear answer. On one hand, I really love doing what I do right now, but on the other hand, the activity and engagement just arenβt what they used to be, and that huge wave of motivation is gone. Fewer new people are joining, and the channel feels like itβs slowly fading.
As you know, most of my audience came from TikTok, but Iβve been shadowbanned there for almost a year now. After the third time it happened, I just accepted it. I tried branching out into Twitter -posting manga cleans, coloring, even some drawing attempts - but so far, no real success. It almost feels like everything is hinting at: βDude, this isnβt working, maybe itβs time to stop.β
But hey, weβre strong people, right? So, weβre not giving up - weβll keep going till the end.
Now for a slightly awkward topic - donations. The channel is already in its third year, and as many of you know, Iβve never done ads or asked for donations. I never even raised the subject, even though some people offered financial support - I always turned it down. For me, everything Iβve done here has been more of a hobby, and I felt it wouldnβt be right to ask money for it. Even though I was spending my own money on it (like paying for the Photoshop Generative Fill subscription I used to make anime wallpapers). When it started hitting my wallet too hard, I had to stop, and instead I began posting other peopleβs art as wallpapers. But monetizing someone elseβs work never sat right with me. Of course, some might say itβs not a big deal, but for me it was.
However, after everything Iβve been through recently - which took a toll not just on my health but also on my finances - Iβve decided itβs time to finally bring this up. How would you feel if I added an option for donations in the group? The feature would be directly in Telegram via Tribute. Iβd really like to hear your honest thoughts on this - itβs important to me.
And if youβre okay with it, I might also consider doing commissions. Things like custom wallpapers or frames (1:1, 3:4) based on specific manga/manhwa or anime, personalized wallpapers for your devices, redrawing or cleaning specific manga panels (I post some of those on Twitter - check them out if youβre interested).
