این روزها برچسب «عادی سازی» روی بسیاری از فعالیت‌های روزمره می‌خورد و ریشه‌ای جز خشم ندارد. شرایطی که ایجاد شده، خشم بسیاری در مردم ایجاد کرده. ظرفیت روانی افراد پر شده و کوچک‌ترین حرکتی از سمت سایر افراد ممکن است سبب بروز خشم به شکل توهین و مقصرسازی شود. اما بهتر است به چند موضوع توجه کنیم؛ افسردگی در ایران عملاً به سطح بالایی رسیده و اوضاع خوبی ندارد، افراد بسیاری تحت دارو‌درمانی و روان‌درمانی‌اند، افراد بسیاری نیز با مشکلات شدید روانی دست و پنجه نرم می‌کنند اما بنا بر دلایلی درمان را جدی نمی‌گیرند. اما نکته‌ای که واضح است، این است که بخش عظیمی از افراد امروزه درگیر مسائل روانی‌اند و غم بخش بزرگی از زندگیشان را تشکیل می‌دهد. شرایط ایجاد شده به طبع این مسئله را پررنگ‌تر می‌کند و پریشان‌حالی را افزایش می‌دهد.‌ همان‌طور که می‌دانیم، شیوه‌ی برخورد انسان‌ها در مواجهه با چنین مسائلی متفاوت است. برخی از مشغول کردن ذهن خود، سعی برای ساخت لذت‌های کوچک، خلق معنا و بهبود بخشیدن شرایط روحی خود حتی به مدت کوتاه، استفاده می‌کنند. این بدین معناست که انسان‌ها برای بهبودی روان خود نیازمند انجام فعالیت‌هایی مثل قهوه نوشیدن در کافه‌ای دنج، خرید کردن از فروشگاه موردعلاقه، کتاب خواندن و غیره، هستند. این مسائل به هیچ عنوان به معنی فراموشی وضع موجود نیست، چه بسا فعالیتی کوچک برای مقابله با افکار مرگ، جنگیدن در برابر تمام درگیری‌های روانی و غیره است، اما چرا ما نیاز داریم خود را به زندگی متصل کنیم؟ پاسخ ساده و بدیهی‌ست، اما درک آن کمی سخت است.«زندگی جریان دارد.» متاسفانه یا خوشبختانه زندگی ساکن نیست و جریان داشتن آن سبب می‌شود انسان محکوم به ادامه دادن باشد. این درد و رنج هرگز عادی نمی‌شود، تروماهای ایجاد شده هرگز از ذهن پاک نمی‌شوند، صحنه‌هایی که دیدیم و اتفاقاتی که رخ دادند، قرار نیست فراموش شوند، اما انسان محکوم و مجبور است با تمام این‌ها به زندگی ادامه دهد، پس به همین میزان محکوم و مجبور است که خود را با کوچک‌ترین گام‌ها به زندگی متصل نگه‌ دارد. پس بهتر نیست کمی خشم خود را بر سر افرادی که تمام تلاششان را می‌کنند تا خود را کمی بیشتر زنده نگه دارند، خالی نکنیم و اوضاع یک‌دیگر را درک کنیم؟ هیچ یک از ما دشمن دیگری نیستیم، همه‌ی ما عزاداریم و غمی در دلمان هست که سبب می‌شود بخشی از وجود ما هرگز شاد نشود.

I am writing to urgently bring to your attention the case of Saleh Mohammadi, a 19-year-old wrestler from Qom and a medal-winning athlete who now faces execution. According to reliable sources, he is detained under harsh conditions, denied access to legal counsel, and at immediate risk of the death penalty. His family has been left without reliable information about his fate, and there are serious concerns that any confessions were obtained under duress.
