SB members are allowed to take part in IT projects, SWGs or any other activities within the SCORE IT.  The SCORE Supervising Board members are IFMSA International Assistants, being an integral part of the SCORE IT. After several years, this workshop is finally back and ready to provide SCORP members from around the world a great opportunity to broaden their knowledge and skills in defending human rights for our health systems, as future healthcare workers, and against violence — particularly in our increasingly conflict-burdened world.  As we all know, the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights Education and Training emphasises the importance of strengthening respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, promoting tolerance, gender equality, and cooperation among all nations, and enabling all persons to participate effectively in a free society. With conflicts all over the world leading to attacks and endangerment of our health systems, we face an increasingly large problem — and duty as future medical professionals — to protect our healthcare in danger. Through this HCiD workshop, supported by International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) online resources, we aim to capacitate SCORP members in the nature of attacks on healthcare and its components, the legal frameworks protecting healthcare, and how to best advocate for healthcare delivery and personnel protection in line with international human rights law. We know this is a topical, complex and fascinating topic — it is why we are holding this workshop and want to see YOU there, by signing up to this call for O'HCiD participants! The workshop will be conducted over approximately 10 to 12 sessions, with a total 24 working hours, including homework and self-study, distributed over 4 weeks. A policy document describes IFMSA’s position regarding a global health issue and is of utmost importance to establish the legitimacy of IFMSA’s stances in representing 1.5 million medical students worldwide. PCs are important bodies in the IFMSA policy process to ensure that our policy documents are representative, evidence-based and actionable.  Task description  A policy commission is composed of three members; 2 representatives of the NMOs and one IFMSA Official. The proposer of the policy draft is part of the Policy Commission and is responsible for appointing its members, according to the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws (article 17.2c, link). There will be one Policy Commission appointed per policy document, with two NMO representatives per Commission.  The task description of the Policy Commissions are stated in the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws (article 17.2c): • They are responsible for the quality of the policy document with the approval of the proposer; • Ensuring the content is based on global evidence; • Collecting and incorporating NMO feedback after the call for input; • Coordinating the discussion during the General Assembly Meeting.*  This includes a review of the policy draft for relevance, applicability, scientific accuracy, grammar and any potential areas of controversy along with the review of the references and cross-checking in literature. This means that you will review the policy draft, written by the policy Small Working Group, and assess if it abides by the criteria needed for a quality policy document. Moreover, you will review the input provided by the NMOs. What is AMEE? AMEE promotes international excellence in education in the healthcare professions across the continuum of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education. Every year, AMEE organises the largest medical education conference in the world: the AMEE Conference. This year, the AMEE conference will take place in Basel, Switzerland from 24th to the 28th of August 2023. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, making many events of the conference accessible to a wider array of participants.  One of the major opportunities for healthcare professions students during the AMEE conference is to be a member of the Student Task Force (STF). The student task force is a selected group of medical students that show motivation and experience in medical education. These students are required to assist with basic tasks like managing practical issues and assisting conference organisers and participants throughout the event. In exchange for their active participation and contribution, AMEE offers the STF members the chance to attend the conference for free and also provides financial aid to support their travel and accommodation expenses.   This is your chance to be one of the coordinators! Description of the positions As Coordinator, you will be working in a team of six Coordinators, consisting of the EMSA Medical Education Liaison Officer (MELO), the IFMSA Liaison Officer for Medical Education Issues (LME), the EMSA Co-Coordinator, the IFMSA Co-Coordinator, the Online Coordinator and the Local Coordinator from Basel, Switzerland. Altogether, you will be responsible for the management of the AMEE Conference 2024 Student Task Force (STF). Your tasks as a Coordinator will be to: • Support the AMEE Representatives in their tasks related to the AMEE STF; • Read and evaluate the applications for the STF (>1000 applications); • Be responsible for various administrative tasks, e.g. sending invitation letters, answering emails; • Prepare promotional materials for the AMEE STF (such as booklets and guides) to be published on the AMEE Student Task Force's Facebook Page and Instagram Page; • Assist with the coordination of logistical tasks during the Conference; • Support AMEE STF members leading up to and during the AMEE 2024 conference; • Attend the Online Meetings of the AMEE STF Coordinators Group (±1 per month).
