Baku...
It is the city that reigned over my soul, captivating me with its splendor for eternity. It's the place that embodies the perfect blend of history, architecture, art, and culture. Despite its luxurious, jaw-dropping skyscrapers and landmarks, it possesses an immense simplicity. It fosters a feeling of home away from home. It has this distinct vibe that so dearly calls upon me.
The city is so grand, yet it became so familiar over the course of a week. Its brightly lit streets kept me in awe with shimmering lights and vibrant atmosphere. Nothing felt more calming and safer than walking down its streets, especially at nights. I walk and walk and still can't get enough of the surroundings. No litter, no dust, no pollution - just a gentle breeze that caresses my hair and kisses my cheeks.
Its people are another kind of wonder. They behave, look, and even smell so heavenly. As they pass by, you feel as though you have been hugged by someone dear to you. They arenβt strangers - they are the people with whom you share the air of magic.
The energy of Baku is palpable and unmatched. Itβs like another world inside the planet: it smells of freedom, peace, and dreams.
I am forever yours.

| 9 | Is it possible to attain absolute impartiality, a truly nonjudgmental attitude toward other human beings?
This question has been bugging me for quite some time now.
By educating ourselves and taming our hedonistic nature, we strive for what we call "justice" - a state of fairness and freedom of bias. But is it realistically achievable, considering that our judgment will inevitably sway one way or another regardless of our efforts to uphold high moral standards?
Whenever something is at odds with our values, we do offer our two cents - even when we don't put it into words: through a glance, our body language, or simply our entire presence. Despite how much compassion resides within us, our access to another person's inner world will always remain incomplete. All we are capable of is attempting to show that we can, however vaguely, relate. We can scratch the surface, approximate the experience without fully inhabiting in it.
The complexity of this lies in the fact that the cycle keeps repeating. Just when you begin to think you have reached your zenith, situations/interactions throw you off balance, and you are back to square one: primitive, self-assured, and arrogantly self-righteous you.
What does it take to safeguard yourself from the cyclical entanglement with prejudice?
Constant work. Deeper reflection. Deliberate cleansing.

| 11 | Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
Iβve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
Emily Dickenson. "Hope is the thing with feathers"

| 12 | Inexplicable apathy toward any type of social media - or anything social, for that matter. Sharing feels too personal and uncomfortable. Just want to lock in, ghost the outside world, and stay in my own bubble for a while.
