On June 24, 2026 Sudbury.com published an article which includes an interview with Brad Galloway of Ontario Tech University’s Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism. In the article, Brad Galloway states: “Second Sons capitalize on issues while making money from the merchandise they sell”. The claim that Second Sons makes money from merchandise they sell is presented without any supporting evidence or citation, so I contacted Mark Gentili, the author and editor of the article asking for a retraction/correction on the article. It seems as though Sudbury.com, and especially Mark Gentili doesn’t care about journalistic integrity as it states on their website. I also reached out to Brad Galloway, who has not yet responded.

Someone please just take us out of our misery at this point, because this is fucking embarrassing.
