| 2 | Another kuksa is finished. This one is intended as a mother's day gift (we celebrate it in May in Sweden, I think other countries celebrate at different times? π€).
This one is different from the one I made last winter by being lighter, broader and shallower than that one. Obviously it's different from a cosmetic view as well - featuring heavy "blackout" pyrography designs, my initials and the year of manufacture. This was the first time I ever experimentet with "blackout" pyrography and I am very pleased. The result ended up being a reversed eight armed Sonnenrad (reversed in the sense of the blackout filling the negative space between the spokes of the wheel) and a very small sun symbol on the handle of the kuksa. Unfortunately the motif is somewhst ruined by the massive burl smack dab in the middle, but even despite this I am pleased with my work.
The small leather strap is to allow for the kuksa to be carried at the hip with a carabiner while hiking or foraging for berries or mushrooms.

| 4 | β¨Introducing "Endurance"β¨
This is the first piece in the "Against The Odds" collection I'm creating this year.
When I think of the word "Endurance," one of the things in the natural world that comes to mind is the mighty oak. Its ability to withstand harsh conditions, the weight of the Spanish moss, and to stay rooted over a long period of time despite the turbulent weather is really quite awe inspiring.
If the oak can withstand some of the harshest conditions, then so can we... and with time our roots will only become stronger and more resilient. π
Wood burned by hand on basswood. Embellished with fine art colored pencils and 24k gold leaf. β¨ | 66 |

| 8 | ΓΓ³rr (Thor) - the Thunderer
ΓΓ³rr is the son of ΓΓ°inn and foremost warrior amongst the Γsir gods. With his hammer, MjΓΆlnir, he defends ΓsgarΓ°r and MiΓ°garΓ°r alike from jΓΆtnarβforces of chaos with a mindless appetite. For his strength, his courage, and his protection, he is a much-beloved god of mankind. He is known as a reliable friend to the working man, especially the farmer.
I recently completed this skurΓ°goΓ°, or carved idol, to be used in a midwinter blΓ³t to ΓΓ³rr, where he was given offerings of poetry, song, incense, and mead.
In shades of red and gold, he holds MjΓΆlnir in his hands, also wearing the enchanted gloves and belt which the dwarves made for him. His cape features a goat skullβfor he owns a pair of goats which draw his chariot and provide him with sustenance when he travelsβand there is also a depiction of his infamous encounter with the fearsome water serpent, Jormungandr, who encircles the entire earth.
Hail ΓΓ³rr! Mighty Son of the Earth, Friend to Man, and Terrifier of JΓΆtnar! | 119 |

| 12 | After a long hiatus, Iβm returning to blacksmithing with a renewed focus and a higher standard. Iβve taken your feedback seriously, and Iβm making the following changes moving forward:
Lower prices, higher quality craftsmanship and more consistent designs released in batches rather than one offs.
Transitioning away from wrapped handles β all knives will feature G10 or Micarta.
Moving from Kydex to hand-crafted leather sheaths.
All sales will be handled through dedicated platforms rather than email.
I appreciate the support and honest feedback.
I love you all and Gods be praised! | 90 |

| 19 | And this one is finally done! A complete original design inspired by architectural stone carvings, hand cut and painted on solid maple with lightly inlaid gold sheen obsidian cabochons.
This piece is not a commission order, but a passion project. I wanted to try a couple new things, and I'm very happy with the result.
I haven't decided yet if I want to list it on my website or host a raffle. TBA! | 99 |
