Last night, folk gathered at Freyrs Hof for food, fellowship, and ritual. It was amazing, feeling the energy of the Hof coming to life.

Today, the PNW Wolfpack gathers for Midwinter. This day, we gather to give offerings to Thor the Mighty, the AllFather Odin (and his horde), and to Ingve Freyr the best among the Aesir. Hail Thor! Hail Odin! Hail Freyr!

The Wolfpack will be gathering at Freysland on Jan 27th for the closing of the yule season with a blot to Thor, Odin, and Freyr. There will be a potluck style dinner, stories, rituals, and an overall good time with the folk. This event is open to all Wolfpack members, vetted friends, and guests. Reach out to one of us if you haven't gotten involved with one of our gatherings yet and would like to attend.

Hail and hearty thanks to the Men and Women of Ygg’s Ulfar kindred! An 80’ alder fell into our Hof during a storm last week. Members of Ygg’s Ulfar showed up and worked tirelessly to repair the damage and safeguard the Hof from future misfortunes. Moose, special thanks to you. Moose showed up early and stayed late on Saturday. He bucked the tree that fell into firewood size rounds. There was another Alder leaning toward the Hof that was about 80’ and 5’ in diameter at its base. Moose fell that and bucked it as well as another in similar size. Moose then climbed into the creek up to his neck and cut free the fallen Alder that was blocking the flow of the Creek. Larry, Kamron, Jaden, Kaden, Mjolnir Chris and others showed up Saturday and Sunday and put in ten hour days to help clear debris and clear space for the repairs to be done. Each day Vikki brought delicious food for the workers. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Kiah, Taz, and others worked tirelessly. They replaced two trusses, the section of pony wall and the damaged part of the roof. Today (Wednesday) they reinforced the pony wall on the west facing side of the building! Next up: siding will be put on and the faces will be done. Hail Freyr! Hail the Doers!

Important Day Ahead! On October 21st, the PNW Wolfpack will be gathering for hausta blot at freyrsland. This blot is one of 3 seasonal blots performed during the autumn season, with gathering and offerings made to Freyr. We invite all Wolfpack members and vetted guests to attend (If you would like to come and have not had a meet and greet, please contact one of us to get approved) . We will be doing some work on the hoff that morning and early afternoon before blot, and we encourage everyone to come and help out. Many hand make light work! Sacrifice your time and energy to building a great hall to Freyr as we gather to honor him and give him gifts in exchange for fertility, virility, and good luck.

*Official Statement Of The PNWWP* -The 14 Tenets of Belief- The Doctrine Of The PNW Wolfpack 1) We believe in the gods and goddesses of the Northern European Pantheons, i.e., Norse, Anglo-Saxon, Teutonic, etc. Our belief is polytheistic, Pan-Teutonic, and unique to the descendants of Ask and Embla. 2) We believe we are direct descendants of our gods and goddesses. 3) We believe that family shares the hamingja (soul) of their forefathers. Hamingja has been passed down from generation to generation for as long as the folk have existed. The family unit is the foundation that has always held clans, kindreds, and tribes together. There is no separation of family and religion in our way. They are both one and the same! 4) We believe in Natural Law and the force of Wyrd (fate), which permeates all of existence. 5) We believe there exists malevolent and intelligent forces of chaos and order; creative/destructive forces and beings that may cause ill or bring good to us individually and collectively. 6) We believe it is our duty to preserve our ancient folk soul, which is expressed in our beliefs, practice, tradition, and culture. As a Kirke (church), we only promote that which is good and brings benefit to our families and the broader folk. 7) We believe in the natural cycle of life and death, that it is perpetual and transcendent. 8) We believe that diversity is a part of the natural order and should be protected as well as promoted. We recognize that diversity requires uniqueness and traits that differentiate one thing from another (e.g., lion vs. tiger, rose vs. dandelion, etc.). We promote our diversity by celebrating, encouraging, and venerating our own natural expressions of our beliefs through our rituals, traditions, ancestral heritage, and culture. 9) We believe we have a right to happiness, strength, strong community (frith and grith), strong friends, and security. 10) We believe in the virtue of correct action and the honor of one's words. We strive against those things that are contrary to our moral codes. 11) We believe that our Orlog is affected by our success or failure. Our success and failure are determined by how closely we are able to follow our most important virtues.  When we are in the right, we believe that Orlog itself will shape the Wyrd of the universe. *Orlog: fate set in motion by the events of our own lives, which are set in motion by our ancestor's lives *Wyrd: mystical web of energy that connects all things in the world, following the rules of the Norns and of each person’s Orlog 12) We believe in living our lives forthrightly. We do not believe in hiding who we are. We are mighty men and women descended from Ask and Embla, gifted life and all that comes with it from our gods. We choose to openly practice our religion as close as is possible to how our folk have practiced since time immemorial. 13) We believe that by performing sacred and ancient rituals, such as blot, it is an exchange of energy between our gods and our folk; and is one of many ways to communicate with our ancestors and gods. 14) We believe it is necessary to restore the authentic practice of our faith to the broader folk in its truest form.
