Mahavidya tatwa Thus, the Māyā, initiated by the Lord (Īśvara), conceals the real self of beings. Consequently, it binds individuals—who are in reality knowers and doers—through its own principles such as Kalā (limitation), all the way up to Niyati (destiny/fate). By limiting their capacity for action, knowledge, desire, imagination, and regulation, it restricts their experience to finite enjoyments, binding them with hundreds of such fetters (pāśas). Then, it casts them into the general field of experience (bhogya) in fragmentary form, where they repeatedly take birth in different wombs (species or realms), based on their karmic tendencies and bound by coarse material bonds from qualities of primordial nature (guṇas) to physical matter (pṛthivī). Hence, this Māyā is to be utterly destroyed through divine initiation (pārameśvarī dīkṣā). ~ Swachanda Tantra, 10th patal (translated by Radhe Shyam Chaturvedi)

Rudra the wielder of maya tatwa त्रिनेत्राः शूलिनः सर्वे जटाचन्द्रकिरीटिनः । अलुप्तशक्तिविभवा मायातत्त्वाधिकारिणः ॥ ११३७ ॥ भुवनेषु विचित्रेषु योन्याकारेषु संस्थिताः । All these Rudras have three eyes, bear tridents (triśūla), wear matted locks with the crescent moon upon them, and possess unwaning power. The Superiority of Trika School Over Those of Other Scriptures (anyaśāstragaņotkarsa)508 विद्याकलान्तं सिद्धान्ते वामदक्षिणशास्त्रयोः । सदाशिवान्तं समनापर्यन्तं मतयामले ।। ३१९ ।। उन्मनान्तमिहाख्यातमित्येतत्परमासनम् । अर्चयित्वासनं पूज्या गुरुपङ्क्तिस्तु भाविवत् ।। ३२० ।। (The Throne) reaches up to the Vidya-kalanta in the Siddhānta. 509 In the scriptures of the Left (vāma) and Right (dakșiņa), (it extends) up to Sadāśiva, whereas in case of Mata and yamala scriptures it extends up to the Equal One (samana).510 (The final) culmination in the Transmental (unmanā) is taught (only) here (in the Trika).5" Thus it is (said in the Mālinīvijayottara to be) the supreme thrones (with respect to the other traditions). भूयो भूयः समावेशं निर्विकल्पमिमं श्रितः ।। २७१ ।। अभ्येति भैरवीभावं जीवन्मुक्त्यपराभिधम् । bhūyo bhūyaḥ samāveśam nirvikalpam imam śritaḥ 271 abhyeti bhairavībhāvam jīvanmuktyaparābhidham | He who enters repeatedly into this state of penetration (samāveśa) (into pure Bhairava consciousness) free of thought constructs, attains Bhairava's state (bhairavībhāva), otherwise called liberation in this life(jivana-mukti). Similarly, by the multitude of Shaktis (powers), He binds Himself, The Lord of the gods (Deveśa) binds Himself by His own will, and by His own will, He also liberates Himself. ~ Trikasara devyuvāca || śrutam deva mayā sarvam aśeṣa kramamuttamam | pāramparya vibhāgena sarvaśāstra sutodbhavam || tamtrasāram kriyāsāram kulasāram suvistaram | trikasāram tathā nātha yogini hṛdayāmtaram || ~ Varahi tantra

The Ūrmikaulārṇavatantra opens with benedictions to Matysendranātha, one of which refers to him as Śrīnātha. As stated in  Ūrmikaulārṇavatantra 1.1-1.2: namas te kulanāthāya kaulasiddhipradāyine | jñānavijñānadehāya śrīmacchanda namo ‘stu te || anādighorasaṃsāravyādhidhvaṃsaikahetave | namaḥ śrīnāthavaidyāya kuloṣadhividhāyine ‘I offer salutations to the Lord of the Kula who bestows the Kaula realization, the embodiment of scriptural knowledge and wisdom! O glorious Macchanda, salutations to you! Salutations to Śrīnātha, the physician who in prescribing the medicinal herb of the Kula [tradition], is the sole cause for the eradicating the poison of dreadful cyclical existence that is beginningless.’
