দীর্ঘ সাড়ে পাঁচ বছর পর ডলারের বিপরীতে অবমূল্যায়নের ধারা থেকে বেরিয়ে এসেছে বাংলাদেশি টাকা। চলতি বছরের জুন পর্যন্ত গত এক বছরের হিসাবে টাকার মান বেড়েছে দশমিক ০৬ শতাংশ। আর ৩০ আগস্ট থেকে ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত সময়ে ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকা শক্তিশালী হয়েছে দশমিক ৭৭ শতাংশ। রবিবার (২০ সেপ্টেম্বর) কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য উঠে এসেছে। প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী, ২০২১ সাল থেকে চলতি বছরের ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত টানা ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকার মান কমেছে। এই সময়ে এক ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকার দর ৮৫ টাকা ৮০ পয়সা থেকে বেড়ে সর্বোচ্চ ১২৩ টাকা ৯৫ পয়সায় ওঠে। অর্থাৎ এই সময়ে ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকার মান কমেছে ৩৮ টাকা ২০ পয়সা বা ৪৫ দশমিক ০৫ শতাংশ। তবে চলতি বছরের দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে এসে পরিস্থিতি বদলাতে শুরু করেছে। ৩০ আগস্ট ডলারের দাম সর্বোচ্চ ১২৩ টাকা ৯৫ পয়সায় ওঠার পর ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর তা কমে ১২৩ টাকায় নেমে আসে। ফলে ওই সময়ে ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকার মান বেড়েছে ৯৫ পয়সা।
