Some jottings regarding the fool, a favorite archetype Up until the mid to early 20th century (when intelligence took a spiral downturn) mystics, philosophers, seers, theologians, sages etc. held high reverence for the fool. Even controversial figures among these circles (ie. Crowley) were careful to show respect and treat the fool with kindness “lest they entertain angels unawares”. It is also interesting to note that the archetypes of both clever protagonists & antagonists in many classical films (ie. Sergio Leone a writer/ director extensively utilized archetypes) usually sought out the fool when they were in need of truthful and vitally important information. Fools, were those considered the lowliest in the eyes of ‘polite society’, in addition to those considered ‘normal’ individuals within social circles. The fool spends his life shunned and by doing so, spends his time alone and therefore in contemplation, and eventually with enough experience, the veil of social formalities is lifted in all encounters allowing the fool to glimpse the genuine intentions and otherwise masked personalities of those they come into contact with. “The fool doth know, and dares to speak the truth”, as they have few, if indeed any to pay or owe allegiance to. ”The fool also suffers the Cassandra Complex, as they do indeed know, yet few if any will ever heed their words, much less believe them.” In my opinion this is where God’s humor comes into play with ironic brilliance.

Interesting to hear on at least one of the Telegram Channels, that two religions will intertwine in the near future. My own gut feeling tells me that it will be Gnostic Christianity which has both Egyptian and Vedic roots; and the Islamic faith and perhaps combined with the Hebrew (Torah) roots. Unfortunately I don’t know enough about the Islamic or even a great deal about the Hebrew faith. What is interesting is the following theological and pantheistic faiths all promote the notion to know thyself. Even included is Laozi also known as Lao Tzu, a “know thyself” proponent and “mystic philosopher of ancient China, best known as the author of the Tao Te Ching”. This being so, would also necessarily include Asia as well and the IChing is affiliated with the ancient tarot (can be included with the Vedic as they are close in region, perhaps/ more than likely… the Chinese version of the converted tarot in fact, as I have read from several sources. This can only lead to one conclusion; that they all must necessarily follow from one stream/ source.
