An FBI affidavit unsealed on Sep 1, tied to a $560K Hamas crypto seizure, details how an FBI source was told to send funds.
β’ On Feb 10, 2025, the source was told to use a USDT address on Tron and avoid Binance for transfers.
β’ The instruction said: βIt is preferable not to use the BINANCE platform...β and listed Trust Wallet, RedotPay, OKX, KAST, and Bybit.
β’ The stated reason was to avoid using data with the groupβs official name βso that your wallet is not blocked.β Binance was suggested for buying, not sending.
β’ The FBI agent said Binance runs KYC, while the listed tools are βcommonly utilized to obfuscate the identity of the sender.β
β’ The same instruction appears in 3 affidavits from June 2025 to August 2026. The FBI says over $3M had been raised by November 2025.
β’ The affidavits do not show a single transfer traced to a RedotPay or KAST account. Both names appear once.
