There were enemies of the Church near Hitler! They are all over the world, but there were also devout Catholics with Hitler, ardent ones, like Monsignor Tiso and me. I had endless talks about this with Hitler and Himmler. State Capitalism vs State Socialism The term "state capitalism" was first coined by Wilhelm Liebknecht. He used this term to draw a comparison between State Socialism and State Capitalism. Liebknecht described the relationship between these two ideologies in terms of superstructure and base, asserting that “although the two ideologies may initially appear to be opposites, in truth, state socialism incorporates state capitalism." Back then, social democrats used the term as a derogatory label when criticizing the communist policy of party ownership. After World War I, Nazi Germany became a prime example of a country that saw significant growth through state-capitalist economic policies. While this approach is generally known as "state capitalism," Marxists traced its ideological roots to Friedrich List. My Nazi Guards Thanked Me with a Bible by American Veterans Center Jerry Wolf was an American pilot who flew for the American Air Force during the second world war. While flying on a mission, his plane was struck by enemy artillery causing him to bail out of his B-17. Upon landing by parachute, he was captured by the Germans as a prisoner of war. Jerry recounts his experience as a prisoner and how the Germans treated him until his release. "'I spoke with the commandant. He then says, 'Gee, there's another one, wait a minute,' and he ran out to the outer barracks and brought in the five books of Moses in Hebrew. Therefore, the speech became known as The Leader Responds to Roosevelt. The speech is also one of Adolf Hitler's key policy speeches. In it he addresses all the European problems, some of which were only created by the so-called Treaty of Versailles, and shows possible solutions.
