How to Find BONANZA Grade GOLD & SILVER Deposits

In this video, I show you how to find gold and silver in epithermal deposits using real-world mining geology at the historic Silver Top Mine in Tonopah, Nevada.
If you're into gold prospecting, silver mining or learning how to find gold, this video shows the geological clues that can lead you toward mineralized ground.
We start with oxidized veins, hematite, iron staining, quartz stringers and stockwork zones cutting through hydrothermally altered andesite. These are exactly the kinds of field indicators prospectors should be looking for in an epithermal gold and silver system.
Then we get deeper into the geology:

One of the most important gold prospecting lessons in this video is:
IF YOU FIND ONE MINERALIZED VEIN β LOOK FOR ANOTHER.
Epithermal deposits commonly develop along faults and fractures that allow hydrothermal fluids to move through the rock. As pressure, temperature and fluid chemistry change, gold, silver and other minerals can drop out of solution and form veins, stockworks and mineralized breccias.
At Tonopah, those hydrothermal systems created multiple generations of gold and silver mineralization.
We also explore the historic Silver Top and Mizpah mining operations, including the Silver Top headframe, 1,200-foot shaft, ore-sorting system, mine hoists, counterweights, compressors, drilling equipment and underground mining methods.
You'll also learn why these historic gold and silver mines eventually shut down β and why having ore underground does NOT always mean a mine can operate profitably.
Falling silver prices, declining grades, manpower shortages, deep mining costs and groundwater all played a role.
