The bar chart illustrates the number of volunteers and paid workers involved in four different roles — coaching, refereeing, therapy, and other sections — within the sports sector of an Australian town in 2015.
Overall, volunteers outnumbered paid employees in all roles except refereeing. Coaching attracted the highest number of volunteers, whereas paid workers were more evenly distributed across the sectors, with “other sections” employing more paid staff than the other three categories. Notably, refereeing recorded the lowest participation from both groups, while the number of therapists remained relatively average.
Regarding voluntary participation, coaching had the most significant number, with approximately 75 individuals, vividly demonstrating its popularity among unpaid contributors. This was followed by “other sections”, which engaged around 60 volunteers. The number of volunteer therapists was slightly lower, standing at roughly 45. Referees were the least preferred role for volunteers, with only about 30 people taking part.
In contrast, paid workers were more prevalent in other sections, with almost 50 individuals, outnumbering volunteers in coaching (almost 45). The number of paid therapists accounted for 40, marginally exceeding that of referees.

The bar chart illustrates information about the production of four types of fruit—oranges, apples, pears, and peaches—in an unspecified Australian state in the years 1995, 2005, and 2015.
Overall, while the production of oranges, apples, and peaches experienced growth over the period, pear production declined significantly. Pears were initially the most produced fruit, but their output was overtaken by both apples and oranges. By 2015, apples became the leading fruit in terms of production, whereas peaches remained the least produced fruit throughout the period.
In 1995, apple production stood at 80 million kilograms, which increased to 110 million in 2005 and then peaked at 120 million kilograms in 2015, making apples the most produced fruit by the end of the period. Similarly, orange production saw a steady rise of 10 million kilograms every decade, reaching 90 million kilograms in 2015.
Peach production, although consistently the lowest among the four fruits, showed a notable increase—from approximately 40 million kilograms in 1995 to 75 million kilograms in 2015.
In contrast, pear production exhibited a downward trend. Starting at nearly 140 million kilograms in 1995, it dropped sharply to around 80 million in 2005 and further decreased to approximately 70 million kilograms by 2015.

Recently, some parents have adopted a highly permissive parenting style, giving their children everything they ask for and placing few or even no limits on their behaviour. While this approach may be driven by love or guilt, it is not an effective method of raising children. I believe that this style can lead to entitlement, behavioral issues, and emotional immaturity later in life.
From the material satisfaction angle, endlessly fulfilling children’s desires fosters entitlement and unrealistic expectations. When children are never denied anything, they may fail to understand the importance of effort and patience. This can lead to frustration and poor resilience when they face life’s unbearable difficulties. A study conducted in the U.S. vividly demonstrated that children raised with unlimited access to possessions often grow into adults who struggle with delayed gratification and suffer from financial instability.
From a behavioral perspective, no boundaries can lead to poor self-control and disrespect for authority. Without consistent rules, children may act impulsively and have difficulty adapting to certain environments. One case in Japan, for example, involved a boy expelled from multiple schools due to violent outbursts, which psychologists traced back to indulgent parenting.
Regarding emotional development, too much freedom can prevent a child from building healthy relationships. Lacking guidance, they may become self-centred and emotionally immature. Take my country Uzbekistan as an example, here parents often strive to set clear boundaries for their children, helping them grow into modest and morally grounded individuals who are capable of forming strong and respectful relationships.
In conclusion, allowing children to have everything and do anything may seem kind, but it can eventually harm their long-term development materially, ethically, and emotionally. Balanced parenting—combining love with discipline—is meant to be more effective approach.

Some parents buy their children whatever they ask for, and allow their children to do whatever they want. Is this a good way to raise children? What consequences could this style of parenting have for children as they get older?
