After dozen of different camera projects, we are launching a whole line of EDGE AI camera platforms for very different applications. krye.ai With these platforms, the development of new products will be twice as fast!

Exactly one year ago I opened a company in Turkey. At the time, I planned that the company would be an "empty shell" for a couple of years, and that sometime by 2024 we would begin to develop it very cautiously. In February, the reserve airfield suddenly became the main one. With an investment of 1.5 million euros this year and a plan to spend another 3.5 million euros over the next couple of years. But most importantly, it is a confirmed order book for next year. Given all the challenges of growth, we expect the revenue to reach 10 million euros. The challenge is to assemble a team to make it all happen. So everything is as usual: just when you stop worrying about not having enough customers, time to start worrying about not hiring enough employees.

Our developers have taught the camera to detect a person's heartbeat rate through video. Sounds kind a magic to me.

I often hear, "Why did you open in Turkey? Isn't there the biggest inflation in the world and a lot of economic and political problems?" It's strange to hear that. High inflation makes manufacturing in the country more beneficial. Right now, the cost of labor in Turkey is the lowest in Europe. Meanwhile, Turkey is one of the most industrialized economies in the world, with classic, very free capitalism and high entrepreneurial activity. And the other, equally important side is that Turkey has become our home, and working here, we are changing people's lives for the better.

We renovated literally everything: walls, ceiling, doors, toilets, electricity, water, fire extinguishing, alarm, access control, air conditioning. Our 2021 Lithuanian revenue and profit figures became public—a bit more transparent for our customers and suppliers. In 2022 we will keep working as a supply chain management company in Lithuania, with manufacturing sites in China and Türkiye. But my dream is to open a full-scale factory in Vilnius. Hopefully, in 2023.

Almost all online subscriptions in Turkey are cheaper than they were in Russia. Netflix, Youtube, Sony PlayStation, and so on. Except for Microsoft Office. It is much more expensive here than in Russia or Lithuania. It sounds like a reason to migrate to a new system. Besides, we need something to replace our lovely Bitrix24, something more international. After a short study, we have selected Google Suite as an office tool and Monday.com as CRM, process, and project management. Migration is always a pain, but if we don't do it now when we are 20 people, it will be much more painful when we become 100.

Switching from a "regular" bank to Revolut was one of my best decisions in recent months. Payments (even SWIFT) are instant, and commissions are about zero. You get exactly what has been sent. Also, your recipients get the full amount without any "OUR" in the SWIFT message. Finally, the exchange rate is reasonable, not this predatory 5% gap in our "general" bank. It's excellent. Recommend it. In addition, they have a full-fledged bank in Lithuania with a general license. Hopefully, it's reliable. USD 30 bln valuation in their last round makes me feel safer.

The renovation project of our Antalya facility is ready and approved. Construction work launched today. Soon we will see what the famous Turkish construction speed is.
