I made new emoji packs that better represent the Ethiopian Abugida, numbers, and punctuation. So we can use Ge'ez fidel like 🔤 or 🔤 or Amharic fidel like 🔤 or 🔤 and the Ge'ez numbers 🔤🔤🔤 and 🔤 or 🔤🔤🔤 and even the punctuation like 🔤🔤🔤 or 🔤🔤🔤 I believe Ethiopia must be well represented. I am not sure whether there are already other packs like this, but for sure the design will be different anyway.

I feel like AI is starting to take away our confidence in coding independently—without guidance, without relying on posts from the internet or tutorials. We’re beginning to forget how to write even small functions and basic algorithms from scratch. I believe we need to code on our own, especially when it comes to foundational, low-level languages like C, C++, and maybe Rust. These are important because they teach us how things really work under the hood. AI can guide us, sure—but it often can’t give us truly useful, working C code without us understanding the logic ourselves.

My first programming language was C, by the way. I remember trying to learn how to program back then—I downloaded a bunch of apps on my phone, like Learn C, Learn C++, Learn Python, and so on. But I didn’t go much further with C, because then came C++, with its classes and all that object-oriented magic we “throw” around. Then came Java, then JavaScript, PHP, C#, Python… and it just kept going.
