Today marks 28 days since the launch of Run, and we’re celebrating with a new update!
This release introduces syntax highlighting — meaning you’ll now see cool colors as you type your code. ✨
Even better:
It’s fast ⚡
It adapts automatically to the language you choose
And the colors are unique for each language .

I feel like AI is starting to take away our confidence in coding independently—without guidance, without relying on posts from the internet or tutorials. We’re beginning to forget how to write even small functions and basic algorithms from scratch.
I believe we need to code on our own, especially when it comes to foundational, low-level languages like C, C++, and maybe Rust. These are important because they teach us how things really work under the hood. AI can guide us, sure—but it often can’t give us truly useful, working C code without us understanding the logic ourselves.

For all of you who have even forgotten how to say "Hello World" in C, here’s how:
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
printf("Hello World!\n");
return 0;
}
My first programming language was C, by the way. I remember trying to learn how to program back then—I downloaded a bunch of apps on my phone, like Learn C, Learn C++, Learn Python, and so on.
But I didn’t go much further with C, because then came C++, with its classes and all that object-oriented magic we “throw” around. Then came Java, then JavaScript, PHP, C#, Python… and it just kept going.915
Just came across this channel from my channel stats — wow, you’re such a motivation, Lydida!
Being in the health department and doing tech stuff is something unbelievable for most of us. So proud of you!
I love Python — my entire tech life is mostly Pythonic, and we’re on the same path.
People I know outside of tech often find it difficult to even open their social media accounts, let alone do coding.
It’s really inspiring to see something like this. 💪🔥

If you're learning ✨ Python, I highly recommend checking out #RealPython—it's an excellent resource. I also have some great books prepared by Real Python that I can share with you.
And if you're serious about becoming a Python expert, I suggest reading "Python: How to Program" by Deitel. It's a comprehensive guide that covers everything in depth.

Anyone learning or working with C++? There's an amazing website that I personally think is the best for learning C++ from scratch. It explains even the tiniest details and the inner workings of the language. I highly recommend starting with LearnCpp.com!
