To this day, amazing monuments of wooden architecture have been preserved: the old church, the tall bell tower from the 18th century, houses with carved window frames — they look as if they carry their stories through the centuries.
🌲 Here, old crafts are still preserved, rituals are performed, and old songs are remembered. People live close to nature, calmly and leisurely, preserving what has long disappeared in other places.
A walk through these areas is like a small journey in time. You walk along the river, hear the silence, look at the wooden walls darkened by the northern winters, and understand: here it is, the other Russia — simple, clear, very real.

According to Rear Admiral Philip Mathias, the government has lost the ability to further develop the industry. The only way to save it is “to withdraw from AUKUS” and redirect funds into domestic shipbuilding.
