| 11 | No place for Russia's allies! No place for the AfD!
The collaboration between the Russian state and the far-right AfD party can no longer be denied.
For years, Russia has been supporting the AfD financially and through the media, and using people close to the AfD as spies across Europe. In return, the AfD normalises Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, denies Russian war crimes and spreads Russian disinformation. This is not a fringe alliance, but part of a Europe-wide network of far-right forces that reinforce one another — at the expense of those who are actually suffering from war and fascism.
As anti-fascists, we must not ignore this problem. We are therefore taking to the streets in Berlin on 5 September to shine a light on something too often kept in the shadows: the close ties between the Russian state and the far right in Germany.
Recognising and naming this connection is the first step towards fighting it — precisely because the AfD presents itself to parts of the public as supposedly independent or even critical, while in reality it benefits from Russian support and spreads Russian narratives.

Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem russischen Staat und der rechtsextremen Partei AfD ist heute offensichtlich.
Seit Jahren fördert Russland die AfD finanziell und medial, setzt AfD-nahe Akteur*innen als Agent*innen für Spionagezwecke in Europa ein. Im Gegenzug normalisiert die AfD den russischen Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine, leugnet russische Kriegsverbrechen und verbreitet russische Desinformation. Diese Allianz ist kein Randphänomen, sondern Teil eines europaweiten Netzwerks rechtsextremer Kräfte, die sich gegenseitig stärken — auf Kosten derer, die unter Krieg und Faschismus tatsächlich leiden.
Als Antifaschist*innen dürfen wir dieses Problem nicht ignorieren. Wir gehen deshalb am 05. September in Berlin auf die Straße, um sichtbar zu machen, was zu oft im Schatten bleibt: die enge Verbindung zwischen dem russischen Staat und der extremen Rechten in Deutschland.
Diese Verbindung zu kennen und zu benennen, ist der erste Schritt, sie zu bekämpfen — gerade weil sich die AfD in Teilen der Öffentlichkeit als vermeintlich unabhängig oder gar kritisch inszeniert, während sie tatsächlich von russischer Unterstützung profitiert und russische Narrative verbreitet.

Swallow is a feminist commander leading an aerial reconnaissance team defending a wide stretch of front across Luhansk and Kharkiv regions, including the Svatove and Kupiansk directions. Their mission: disrupting enemy logistics and destroying lightly armored vehicles. Holding this ground has meant living under constant pressure for over four years as russian forces attack almost daily with artillery, infantry, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
With your support, we've already helped Swallow’s team upgrade their equipment more than once. Now we’re launching another fundraiser: three UAV batteries, which will increase the drones’ flight range by 20%, and a drone deployment system that lets operators launch drones from a safer distance. The remaining funds will help Swallow’s team repair and upgrade the bus they use to transport drones.
